So I actually did it!

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

I finally buckled down and bought some weight training stuff for me to use here at home. Getting adjustable 3-24lbs per dumbbell set. A three in one chin up bar that braces against the door frame so i dont have to drill holes and put it up funky (I cant draw a straight line so it was a legitimate concern for me). And I’m taking the plunge and purchased the P90x program. A couple guys at work are started on it and they had some serious results so far and its only been two weeks. Ordered some supplements also so I’m going to start the Mitotropin routine from Gaspari. And I’m going to be doing the whey protein and casein protein. A bit scared about starting up with all this but figure its more cause I have never tried it before and have no clue what the hell I am getting into. Anybody with any extra tips or advice would be appreciated right about now.

My Merry Christmas cheat…..

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

Yup its o’dark thirty and I’m chowing on a pint of Oreo ice cream and watching T.A.P.S. Doubt I will finish it but it feels good to cheat. Been drinking lots of water (adding propel packets and vita packs) and eating pretty healthy. Most my meals vary from chicken and rice soup or chicken noodle soup. Eggs and wheat toast with juice. Chicken breasts, brown rice, and lots of veggies and had a couple pasta nights with a chunky tomato sauce that has zuccini and squash in it. Thanks to everyone for the support and answering my questions about suppliments and giving me tips. In the last week I have had a few people comment about how I looked better and noticed my increase in energy even with me being sick.  I’m figuring if its noticable after only a week and a half to folks I usually only see in passing then in the next month I should have some really serious marked improvments.

And then life happened.

Yeah I am pretty sure the world is out to get me right now. Was working out and doing my thing got the first two days in a  row going. Then here I am laid out in bed running a fever and dry heaving in the shower. So much for getting to burn any calories today. I’m having drama with this b.s. and yeah note to anybody who ever thought oj and tomato soup were good when your sick was seriously messed up in the head. That shit makes for some of the most wreched ……….well you know were I’m going. Happy Holidays !

Okay so I have been struggling with my weight over the last couple years my heaviest point at 230 pounds December of ‘07 I was really unhappy and miserable with how I looked clothing fit to tight and yeah its easier to buy new cloths than fix a problem but when your buying xl panties and they are to tight its really the final straw. So I started working out. I walked/jogged the 2.5 miles to the gym. Walked on the treadmill a hour and then walked the 2.5 miles back to my place.  I lost more than I expected dropping to 176 by my birthday in May. Then I slacked off with workign out sinc eI had just moved and then I just focused on the number on the scale and not on how i was really looking. Fat and muscle look alot different. I now recognize this. But yeah look at all the pics feel free to comment. See were I have come from and were I am going to. I’ll keep posting with this.

Thanxs
