Wow it is Oct. already. Throughout Sept I stopped food journaling and thought I was starting to feel a little "fat" but when I weighed myself I wasn’t "fat" and had stayed about the same weight. Thats nice but I’m back to food journaling to get this soft feeling away. I now really only train with kettlebells KETTLEBELLS KETTLEBELLS!!!!!!! tuesdays, thursdays, sat (heavy) and do kickboxing on the off days. I’m trying to think of a goal for this winter because I’m just working out which I must must must do in order to keep my mental sanity!
I got my current boyfriend to join the gym I’m at. He has lost 30 lbs!! I’m so proud of him! AND he is 6-8% body fat. He had a good muscle base but now you can see them POP! YUM! AND with the kettlebell training his legs feel 10Xs better…….and his butt too!!! I think he was an upper body junky…dont’ tell him I said that but now he looks better because his legs have muscle too…..guys with just a muscular upper body well you all on body space I think have the same feelings towards that as I do!! haha
well off to kickboxing to stretch my sore glutes and shoulders from doing walking shoulder presses with a 25lb and a 30 lb switching of course for 12 mins then doing 30 seconds of snatching with "active" rest right and left hands
I love fridays kickboxing class anyhow!!

Oh my glutes and hamstrings are sooooo sore from pistons…..however I can go all the way down and up CONTROLLED!!! with my left leg…..right leg not so much….whew!!
Took my boards for nursing today so I missed my kettlebell class…off to the gym for some traditional weight trainning I guess today that is how it will fit into the plan. Just ate some chicken and spinach and had me a multivitamin. Also I guess I started taking green tea extract? meh… belly fat blasted? I read that the extract is a better way of getting it then tea?? I still like tea since Water, coffee, tea are pretty much the ONLY things I drink……….calories looking good for being 2:00 looking good looking good will get through this day fine I think and stay strong through the evening munchy hours.

At the gym we call this the spartan 300 hehe
25 pullups (I can only do 3 real good ones, the rest I do a little jump or do negs)
50 deadlifts….use the 100lb kettlebell….it’s the biggest we have
50 pushups
100 windsheild wipers I hold two 30 lb kbells in my hands (these will surely help to see my mother #%@&^ abs
50 box jumps I do 10 on the (I think its 32 inch platform the rest on the 24 inch)
25 more pullups
Whew!!! Kickboxing today and Kbells thursday a.m. I can’t wait

This a.m. worked the glutes good with some jumping and leaping and single leg deadlifts with a kettlebell and squats and other things. Kicked bag and foot started bleeding darn it!
Yesterday did 25 min continuous with 20 sec on 10 sec off with kettlebells in this order
55lb swings
L arm 30 lb clean and press
55lb swings
R arm 30 lb clean and press
55lb swings
squating 55 lb
REPEAT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!! for 25 mins LOVE IT!!!!!!!
then did 100 jump chins to finnish with my heart A PUMPing!!!!!!!

Caught guff for not drinking on the party bus for my friends bachelorette party. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. About a month ago I decided to drink and it took me two days to feel back to normal. Plus I had to drive 7 hours that day to get there and I know I’m not going to be on the road feeling like crap. AANNnnnnddd because I’m feeling lean and I think my abs are looking better and I want to melt fat (duh one night of drinking won’t help me) Anyways after everyone started drinking I think they assumed my water glasses were drinks and they didn’t care anymore.
Anyway at the end of the night some guy that I had been dancing with asked why I was drinking water!!!!!!!! I said "I don’t drink" and he laughed and was like "WHAT! your not drunk!!" I said "Stone Sober" and laughed thinking in my head. A girl dosen’t have to drink to go out and dance and have fun!!!
Today I did 20 mins of 15 seconds as many as I can snatches 25lb with one hand rest 15 go 15 more seconds right hand. I usually pump out 8 or 9. I was just looking at a clock but anyone got a gymboss timer….I want….I want….

so last time I did the SSST Secret Service Snatch Test (I think that is what it is called) I did 230 kettlebell snatches in 10 mins.
Yesterday I did 240!!!! I knew I wanted to beat my other number……each time was with a 25 lb kettlebell
I wonder what the record is for women……my instructor was saying it was like 380 HOLY COW I want to see that girl!!!!
Then we did 10 mins of turkish getups continuous amoung other things. I love working out with kettlebells I feel so good afterwards!

So I was not on this site for awhile and fell to the wayside and from the looks of my progress pics haven’t changed THAT drastically……granted now that I’m smaller I realize it will be more difficult and change will occure slower for me. Just glad this place exists, somewhere to go where people share the same sort of goals. I smile and thank those around me who say I look great but I want to look better! Vain? maybe… but I want to have the smoking hot body on the Minnesota beach this summer and this site helps me re-focus what I have been shoving in my mouth and get me back on track!! For once in my life I want to be the bombshell!! (all former chubby girls know what I’m talking about) Plus the last month when I haven’t been eating as clean as before I didn’t feel as good. My guts and mind and body love me more when I eat clean!!!!
REWARD for being confident enough to wear nothing but a sports bra to my kickboxing class will be a sweet little bra and shorts matching outfit…..I don’t think my midsection is ready yet…..but soon….. plus I bought the new suit in my Avi and the little stomach pudge isn’t making it look more sexy thats for sure!!

new goal/////tactical fitness challenge…..oh what was my kickboxing instructor talking about….. Still in the best shape of my life and working on getting better. I’m not so sure if I want to compete so much anymore…or maybe just work on getting stronger….For now I’m just getting everything I can out of every workout possible and eating right. A new goal might be fun to work towards.
Now that it is nice I can hike the trails with my weighted vest and my NEW TRAIL RUNNING PARTNER!!! He can sort of keep up but I’m wearing the vest and doing jumping jacks and jump squats on the trail when he starts lacking but at least he is TRYING! and is consitantly coming!! Woopie! I like kicking people’s butts if they will let me
I hate road running but trail running with the up hills and jumping over logs and up onto rocks now that is fun!!! AND I splurged and bought a camlepak! Have to stay hydrated!

So I have been slacking coming on here because I was busy finnishing up school and dealing with graduation.NOW! I am done and have a BSN woot woot!! It feels so good. I also still ate healthy but not my strict ways so I’m back on my logging EVERYTHING I didn’t lose or gain just stayed the same…..this week I’ve been doing killer workouts and also adding in a 15-15 kettlebell snatch cardio (snatch with one arm for 15 seconds rest then do other arm, I usually get about 7-9 snatches on one side…do this for 20 mins) I was off the boat but I’m coming back around life is slowed and now back to working on seeing those abs!!!!
Wii fit whatevvv it told me I was overweight…with my bodyfat percentage I hardly think so but I understand it only took into account my weight and heighth….I’ll take that as a compliment……off to kickboxing !!!
NO MORE SWEETS this month!! I stayed away from the graduation sheet cakes but when someone makes homemade rubarb cake with fresh rubarb because it is season a girl did not even think twice….it’s not like fresh rubarb is around year round!!! No guilt on that one!!!

So after slacking this past weekend (grandmothers funeral) I hit it hard two days in a row and got back on track with my diet. I just bought climbing shoes and a harness for 112 bucks!!!! This place is going out of buisness and luckily my size was still there!!! woopie!! Now I can go climbing this summer…..I have spur of the moment decided to take it up……any cool places anyone know of???
