HURT MYSELF
November 29, 2009UPDATE!!! 11/29-hurting really bad today!!! going back to dr tomorrow!!! out of the gym for a while-doctor’s orders-torn ac joint, rotator cuff injury & pulled/torn muscle, possible broken rib……that is all on the left side but my right one is popping & hurting really bad now too. i’m scared…so ready to prepare for competition…but now have a set back.
The injury happened in the gym. I hurt it last year and thought it was better. But, in august it flared up again. I took it easy for a few months then started back hard. I was fixing to do bench dips with a 45# plate in my lap. I barely had started dipping and I heard it pop and crack. That happened last Monday. I’ve been in pain since then. This morning I was trying to put up some new drapes I went to get down and I put all of my weight on that arm (not thinking clearly). I started hurting so bad. Been bad ever since. So I just took meds and laying here with ice packs on.
8/26-I hurt my shoulder in November. It gives me fits all the time. Yesterday I hurt it veryyyyy bad!! I actually think I may have torn something! I went to the chiro today. They put ice on it, shock therapy to 5 locations and adjusted me. I pray that it feels better tomorrow! It hurts to use my arm at all!
