Do’t wait this long
Tuesday, September 8th, 2009I am severly sore. I am having to take the week of from overtraining. I have not taken a full week of from lifting in more then 3 months and am paying the price for it now. I used to take of every 8-10 weeks to let my muscles recupperate and grow. However i was stubborn this time and told myself I would know when to take off. However it took me barely being able to walk up and down stairs with my chest or lats hurting or sitting down and my hands, elbows and arms hurting. All I can say is don’t wait this long and it’s okay to give your body a week off. I feel ignorant for waiting this long and really miss the GYM but I don’t even feel like walking at this point, so I know my body has been over trained. Give your body the rest it needs to keep getting the results you want.
