Do’t wait this long

I am severly sore. I am having to take the week of from overtraining. I have not taken a full week of from lifting in more then 3 months and am paying the price for it now. I used to take of every 8-10 weeks to let my muscles recupperate and grow. However i was stubborn this time and told myself I would know when to take off. However it took me barely being able to walk up and down stairs with my chest or lats hurting or sitting down and my hands, elbows and arms hurting. All I can say is don’t wait this long and it’s okay to give your body a week off. I feel ignorant for waiting this long and really miss the GYM but I don’t even feel like walking at this point, so I know my body has been over trained. Give your body the rest it needs to keep getting the results you want.

Mass Builder day 1

Day went good. Got in and out of the gym in 45 min. Killed Chest and have eatin clean all day. One more meal do go at 11 tonight. Can’t wait till tomorrow.

Mass Building

January 25, 2009

I’m starting a Mass Building training and diet program tomorrow. Going to eat nothing but Sweet Potatos, Steak, Chicken, Turkey, Tuna, Egg Whites, Yogurt, PB, Fruit & Veggies with a few other things, along with my protein. Gona go real Heavy and hope to add 10lbs of Muscle and then try to build up from there. Can’t wait till tomorrow.

Sore beyond Sore

January 9, 2009

   I woke up this morning, and could barely walk. I killed legs, on Wednesday and am feeling the affects today. I’m not bitching, but damn walking like a penguin is embarrising. Three day split this week Push muscles on Monday, Pull Tuesday and Legs on Wednesday and then repeating it all again finishing on Saturday. I’m staying positive though about being sore all over…It’s just means that I’m alive and doing something worthwhile. God Bless and Good Luck to everyone.

You people Motivate me.

So I’ve been hittin the weights really hard the last two weeks, but today I just felt tired the second I woke up. I contemplated if I would workout today, and finally decided that I’m not going to, but after looking at all these people on bodyspace…I realize I can’t let the negative creep in. I gotta keep pushing. So I’m headed to the Gym in five to hit Legs & Calves.

Broken Hand

I broke my right hand thursday morning and I have to get a cast tomorrow. This really is a set back as two weeks ago I set a goal to be in a magazine in 6 months. I hope to still be able to go to work. The positive is my left arm is weak and not as big as my right so I’m going to blow this arm up while my right side gets a break.

So I’m watching the show “TRUE LIFE” on MTV cause while I’m getting ready to get called for work and it follows this guy who locked himself in his apartment for a year cause he was 330 pounds and unhappy with himself, so he quit his job, school and distanced himself from family and friends. He only ate 1 meal a day about 4-500 calories and didn’t workout.

In one year he lost over 100lbs, so he decided to start living a normal life and the first night he goes out the dumbass eats 3 servings of fries and burgers after getting shitfaced. He said he didn’t workout because he didn’t have the energy…well duh idiot, you gotta eat to have some energy. The sad thing is I don’t think he knew any better, and as a result he had allot of excess skin which he could of got partially rid of if he worked out. He has wasted the last 2 years of his life with some bs diet.

It just pisses me off, cause if he would have sought some help he could have dieted right, still lost weight and not have to lose his family. Well his mother thought he should help her since he is obviously an expert…what a joke.

Did anyone else watch this episode? What did you think?

When it comes to weights I never thought there was a shoe requirment so 4 days out of the 5 day routine I wear flip flops. I go to a wide variety of Gyms and some mind it and some don’t. I was just getting done with my third set of BB Overhead Press when I heard a voice around the corner, and I thought it was the althletic director who’s a real dick and I just knew he was gona tell me to put shoes on.

 I wasn’t paying attention to the 35 I was taking off one side and forgot I had a 5 pounder behind it. Well you can guess what happened next and my foot is in a little pain today. In my head I was telling my self "if that @@shole comes in here and says one thing to me, I might just light him up" well it wasn’t the athletic director, it was some old guy on a stationary bike having a conversation. No one saw what happened, but it made me realize I need to regain my focus on the Gym and why I’m there. Today went a little better and tomorrow is the end of wk 21, but next week I’m taking off and just doing cardio and abs. Maybe that will help me regain the true passion of why we are all in the Gym.

My Rough week recap!

August 7, 2008

Well my week didn’t go as planned. I arrived In Dodge City, KS early enough to hit the anytime fitness there but it was 3 miles from my hotel and absolutely no one would take me so I missed my leg workout and I was pissed. Tuesday was allot better. I arrived In La Junta, CO early enough there too and was able to get a Railroad Taxi to take me to Power Gym. Got my arms done. Wednesday was shoulder day and I didn’t get back to Dodge City till 4am and had to be on a train back to Newton, KS by 2 so needless to say I slept. Today I was back home and Got a great Calf, Back, and Abs workout in. Tomorrow I will Head back to work but will have time to get Chest in. My diet on this trip sucked due to the lack of a fridge and other resources. Well I’m on wk 19 now and I’ve only missed two other days before this week so I’m a little bummed, but It’s motivation to hit next week as hard as ever.

Rough week ahead!

Okay so in less then 5 hours I have to take a train and stay overnight about 4 hrs away. Than at 2p.m tomorrow I have to take another train even father away and stay the night again for my return trip the following day. Luckily there is a GYM in each town I’m satying in, but with getting in between 2am and 4am on each trip it’s gona be a little rough getting up for my workout instead of sleeping till it’s time to get on the choo choo. I am writing this blog to myslef so on Friday when I get back I will write how my week went.
