It has been that long since I last placed a blog or consistently checked my page. Man where have I been. One would think my progress has been great, unfortunately not. I have been way too busy with work (I sound like someone who does not make fitness a priority) and have been eating like a pig. NOW it is time for redemption. I’m back and ready to begin or should I say complete my journey. New goals, new focus, a new me….Let’s go to work…

Ok, I know…

I’ve been saying "I’ll put up pics soon" and have not yet. But there will be new pics by the end of the month (if not, I’m going to hurt myself). But the training is going ok, I’ve received a new promotion and have not had the time to post blogs, check the site, or even workout the way I know I should. I NEED to be put in check in order to actually reach my goal by July…

It starts now…

I have taken the firt step to defining my body. As of yesterday, I am now shooting towards actually lowering my body fat. My workout routine consists of medium to high intensity using only dumbbells. Also, I am now adding cardio to my workouts with a clean diet. Basically, I’m consuming high protein, complex carbs, and low good fats. Any suggestions on meal recipes would definitely help. I’ll post new pics soon to show the best progress.

I forgot to mention…

I jumped on the scale today for the first time in a few weeks. And was I shocked! 185! I’ve been eating clean 90% of the time and I’m hoping it’s not fat. I’ve gotten stronger but I don’t think that I’m that much bigger. My arms have increased but that’s all that I have noticed. I’m scared now. When it’s time to measure the body fat, which I’m not anticipating much change, I hope it doesn’t increase. I’ll be devistated. Just thought I’d put that out there. One week and a half to go!

Is it just me?…

I’m close to finishing out 3 weeks of strength training and I’m so pissed. I look at everyone’s updated photos and I’m ready to start burning the fat. Being at 14% and knowing you were once 6% (or 8%, can’t remember the exact number but it was one of the two) is a drag. I vowed to myself that I would take it slow and then turn it up once my body was used to the various motions of weight lifting. I’m so pumped and ready to begin my 12 week workout. As promised, I’ll post new pics before I start. I don’t think they will be too much different than what I have up already, but we’ll see. I hope to drop to at least 9-10% after the 12 weeks. Wish me luck! Is it me, or does waiting to burn fat suck?

Love Potion #1…

For all of you lovers out there, be very careful…Of course it is always important to treat your significant other to a nice dinner and maybe dessert. But whatever you do, don’t overdo it. Don’t buy into the mentality of "I’ll work it off on Thursday". Because as you sleep, it’s converting; and not into muscle. So basically, it’s not worth it! Now I’m not saying you can’t indulge, just don’t overdo it. Come on now, we all have a moment when we get weak and give in. However, it is solely based on how much you give in. But who am I to say these things, you guys are dedicated and already know this. Just a reminder, stay away from the love potions (chocolates, cookies, cakes, etc.).

It’s going….

Well, I’m two weeks into this workout and I can honestly say there is some change happening. I’m a firm believer that the Animal products are working extremely well. We’ll see exactly how well once I update my stats and photos after the 3 week cycle. For the most part, things are going well. I’m pumped about the 12 week program I’m about to endure. When the time comes, I’ll post a few sample workouts to give you guys (and gals) an idea of what I’ll be doing. Until then, keep up the great work…

I have been taking the Animal products (Pak, Stak 2, and Pump) for a week now and I can truly see the difference. I don’t get paid to promote any product so if I’m saying it works, I mean just that. I am aware that different supplements have different effects on each individual. Let me also say that my body does accept what I put into it pretty easily. But enough about me and my genetics; this stuff is truly amazing. I went from doing 2 sets of 6 reps with 225 to doing 2 sets of 8. And most importantly I feel like I can do more (I’ll find out next week). I’ll keep you guys posted. Also note that at this point in my training I am looking for strength only. I feel that my size is appropriate for my frame and will begin the cutting phase in 3 weeks. Happy Lifting!!!

Last month of no cardio…

Starting this week, and for the next 3, I’ll complete my last workout that does not include any cardio. I’ll start new supplements as well. This time I’m taking Animal products. For now, I’ll use the Animal Paks, Stak2, and Pump. Hopefully, this will increase my lean muscle by at least 5 lbs for me to be happy. My overall strength has definitely increased so I’m happy for that. Depending on how I respond to the Animal products, I plan to use Animal Cuts, M Stak, and Pak to begin the serious fat burning process. At the end of the month I’ll post new pics, since they will show what I look like before starting to burn fat.  Wish me success, as I wish you the same.
