Hi Genki. I came across your blog from Team Poynter's page and have to say I totally understand how you're feeling and what you're doing with your eating. I do the same thing on the weekends and I hate myself for it afterward. Yesterday I ate like a pig and drank too much because I knew I was starting Steve's plan today and felt I should get all of the good tasting stuff and drinks in because starting today I'm going to be deprived. Well, the good tasting stuff doesn't make you feel so good. I feel awful today and look like crap. I'm mad at myself for yesterday but today I'm motivated and ready to make a change. I need to stick with the plan or I'm never going to be where I want to be. Keep telling yourself how good you're going to feel when you reach your goal. Planning meals ahead of time really helps a lot. I'd highly suggest doing that if you can. Everyone goes through hard times and sometimes people lose motivation. No one is perfect. What helps me is Team Poynter and looking at people's progress pictures. I hope you start feeling better and just remember, you're not alone. We're all in this together =)

I agree with damien...we have to take things one step at a time. The important thing is that we are working toward our goals. And being consistent is hard sometimes but very necessary. You can do this!

Welp, in this particular case it really doesn't matter which one is correct. What matters is consistency. If you're consistently losing weight on the bad scale then you're still losing weight regardless of what that weight actually is. Stepping on a different scale didn't change a thing. Finishing your half-marathon will.

Good advice from our fellow in and out challengers!
First I have to say, GREAT PIC! What a great experience!
I always remember this question when I am faced with something that seems bigger than whatIcan accomplish....
'How do you eat an elephant?'
One bite at at time, baby.
You have your large goal, break in down into small daily goals, you can do this. One bite at a time!

YEAH! Listen to you go! I knew there was a fighter &amp; dreamer in "there"! That jogging babe in the sports bra &amp; Capris (like the Weider obit alludes to) is IN there. She is IN you right now. You KNOW she's there. She wants sooooooo badly to come out and turn heads and just GOGOGOGOGO! But......she needs help. She can;t do it alone.

You need to help her.

Your bedtime &amp; morning mantra is awesome. I strongly believe in self-fulfilling prophecies. You CAN &amp; WILL make this happen.

Pick a date sometime in 09', spmething that means something to you, sometime next summer or fall. Make this your "target date". Just like all these people competing and are X weeks out, you will be X weeks out. Then come up with a plan, work as hard every day as you did at PHAT Camp and MAKE it happen!

thanks for stopping by my blog. I can tell you it does work, even if you don't eat all that healthy for 90 days. I did it for 30 days and i loss weight and gain tone without following their meal plan. I can imagine the change i would have gotten if i stuck ot it for whole 90 days.

You've laid it all out on in this blog. You've set the bar high. Now go for it. This is your year. Set some goals, a big one, and short term one, and set out with the passion you displayed in this blog. Good luck, and reach your goals moving forwards and enjoying your journey.
