Whats good
September 13, 2008Well this is my first time posting on a ‘blog’ per say. Might as well give it a shot.
I’ll start out by telling my workout story..
I started seriously working out in November 07. I was seeing huge results. Not only phsically, but mentally. Working out was helping me relieve stress with my job, and problems at home. I wasn’t the skinny boy with a 6 pack anymore. I was developing traps, my chest was showing a bit, back was lookin good, I was feeling great. I also started taking supplements. I wrestled, ran track, and cross country for the majority of my life, so I was taught that all that shit (supplements) were horrible for your body. So at the time, I didn’t know HGH from protein. I slowly learned (and I still am) regardless of what everyone says (whether mental or physical) supplements help me see the results I want.
But anyways…. Recently… (almost a year later) I hit a plateau. I’ve been seeing no gains, in size or weight. In fact, I’ve been working out just as much as ever, and I’m seeing DECREASES in my bench reps and max! I’m not feeling the intensity I used too. I’m not sweating much in the gym anymore, and now, because of this, my motivation is shot to shit. I’ve always taken breaks from my supplements and switched up and rearranged my workouts every so often so my body doesn’t get bored… but this time, I’ve completely changed it in order to get myself back on track.
I’ve always read bodybuilding articles and what not, but never really actively been a part of the shit that goes down here, and I’ve never really been organized when it comes to recording sets, reps, weight, etc. But I’m willing to try anything to get out from under this rock.
For atleast another month or so, I’m going to be doing this superset work out that I’ve compiled, just to get the motivation and intensity back up. All you elders tell me if I’m wrong, but if you’ve hit a plateau, I would recommend a workout simliar to this to get you back on your feet. I’ll be regularly updating this site, and my new workouts, so come check them out if you like.
And please for gods sake, if I’m doing something that doesn’t look right, or could be done better, (workouts I mean) someone tell me. I need guidence more than anything… lol.
