How do you stay motivated when you are injured? Motivation is the last thought that comes to the mind when you can’t jump up and go hit the gym they you would like to. Right now my thing is that my shoulder is all jacked up and my doctor advised me to chill out for 3-4 weeks. WOW; good call DOC. ME being the smart guy I am I went to the gym the very next day. Walked around for 10-15mins looking at weights and machines when it finally hit me that there are no exercise(s) you can do without two good shoulders. So now my workouts consist of 30mins on a stationary bike and 20mins in the steam room. Got to love it; not really.
Hit me up and tell me what you think.

Got home Sunday morning after work and my girl was ready to go running. “OK, know problem”. Stretched out for a little bit and then walked to the cover to start the run! First mile up the hill was great. We keep a good pace and all was good. Started down the hill and shit was even better. Got to the next incline surface and things went do hill for me. My legs were on fire and the feeling I got was like I just got kick in the chest by a unicorn. So I started to walk it out as my girl ran off into the sunset. Our rule is if I stop and I’m not dying keep running. So she did so. As I was walking I looked around and saw an older gentleman running up on me. “I was like hell no”. I kicked it into gear and started running like I was in a Gatorade commercial. By the time I got to the last hill to the house I saw my girl from a distance. At this point it’s track season and I’m about to run her ass down. As I closed the gap I notice that she was know longer running. She was now doing lunges up the hill. Damn unicorn got me again. By the time I got to our finish point she was petting a walkers pug. We recovered and started walking back to the house. As we was walking the words “I not tired” roll off here tongue. And I coughed out me neither.
“Cardio suck the donkey” (3) miles at 220lbs. You do the math>>> -GA
