Today is a good day
I didn't get much sleep but half of the day is gone and it has been a great day.
Swimming: Practiced the backstroke and that is the one I'm most comfortable with. I have a feeling due to my breathing. Used the kickboard to help with freestyle. My kicks are getting faster and I noticed a burn in my calves. I think the more I train the more I'll get comfortable in the water; it's definately helped as I don't freak out by swallowing water mid-swim.
We all work on our nutrition and bodies but when was the last time you did something good for your SOUL?
I was driving to church today and out of my rearview mirror saw an older man flagging down cars for help because his vehicle was on the side of the road. I was hoping someone would help him. I almost turned around and did, practically regretted it in mass.
Speaking of which, I was wondering why there was more people than usual and it turns out one of the women's club members passed away and they dedicated this mass for her passing. She was also a part of the Meal's on Wheel's program.
It reminded me of my coworker that recently passed away, now every time I pass her site I'm going to adorn it with flowers/decorations.
To be honest I love sitting with the generations before me. I can understand the differences between us but still think we can learn a lot from each other; like a handshake from the wise and the strong. I hope my generation can maintain good manners.
Looking forward to the other half of the day...
when I drove back the man and his vehicle were gone.
Solace is important to me and since I work hard toward all aspects of life I seek it constantly. No matter how hard I'm going to fail and no matter what my weaknesses are, God has my back.

Have a good day
