One of my coworkers passed away today from a hit and run. She was quite sharp despite her age. I'll miss her...
My pts have been good. I removed a drain from one guy:
Pt: That's not my vein right
Me: No, I'm trying to go for your artery.
Him: You're a good kid no matter what they say about you
Gonna run a little more today I think
Sorry to hear about your co-worker. Unexpected deaths are always harder to cope with . Not sure the back-handed compliment was appropriate though
So sorry to hear
I didn't mean it in that way? I meant that she was in her 80s and was a lifelong learner, more astute at her job than a majority of other coworkers.
Sorry to hear about your co-worker. Glad you are still able to do your job and make your pts' joke and smile.
i am sorry to hear about your co-worker. it is always hard to lose someone in life even if she was a coworker. running is always a great way to get away from things, even if it is only for a little bit. keep your head up lady.
Thanks for the clarification....the written word can be tricky sometimes.
