Night Shift Sucks
I’ve been working night shift since I’ve gotten to Iraq, and unfortunately though it’s been a benefit it’s been a pain trying to get motivated enough to go to the gym everyday. I know that lifting everyday is a bad thing, and I don’t. But I still find it hard sometimes to just go to the gym period…….

Work the night shift as well, but not all that bad, nothing happens at night and not many people around to bother you!

Dude, I love night shift, I lift every night around 0100 in the morning, except on Sundays and my day off. I do all my cardio in the afternoon before I head to work.
Thing about lifting is not working the same muscles out everyday, need to break them up : chest, shoulder, arms, back, legs.

I agree, night shift has its perks. The gym is empty, you have plenty of time to screw around on the internet, it’s quiet, and you don’t have to deal with most of the people’s BS.
I also agree that it can SUCK major because no matter HOW long you work nights, your body NEVER gets used to it. So it can really kick your motivation in the ass, and eating dinner chow for breakfast blows too.

Hey man I go to the gym soon as I wake up. At work I find it easy to eat the needed meals with in the day. Just because your watching the clock. looking for the day to end. On my days off I drive my wife crazy at night.
