			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>well&#8230;i have to post this&#8230;it may seem as though I am tooting my own horn, but I promise I am not&#8230;I posted new pics yesterday and have had several comments about how good they are etc&#8230;I don&#8217;t feel as if they are..honestly I think I am squishy and am not happy about the way I look again, but the back injury did have me down for 2 months, and then another month I was down by my own choice, a lazy choice. But&#8230;I ate about 80% clean for the 3 months I was down&#8230;which really wasn&#8217;t all that difficult..its that next 20% that is the rough part..what I am saying is&#8230;with no work outs and just clean eating you can maintain a fairly healthy physique&#8230;it just goes to show how massively important it is to eat clean..I stayed lean and fairly defined&#8230;.for all you people struggling to make a 100% clean switch&#8230;sometimes it just takes baby steps&#8230;go 80% then work on that extra 20% gradually..going cold turkey isn&#8217;t recommended for a lot of things, and diet is definitely one of them.. good luck to all who are making the switch to clean eating&#8230;it is definitely worth it!! I can&#8217;t wait to start training hard again!!

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ok..so here we go..little did I know when i titled my blog the journal of pain, how prophetic that would be&#8230;the back injury was from hell and took over 2 months to get healed&#8230;2 months of rest&#8230;now turned into 3 because the 2 months off made me lazy as hell and I got complacent&#8230;complaining abut the softening of the body, yet doing nothing about it for a month after the healing process&#8230;it is so easy to fall back into laziness..so convenient.</p>
<p>So I have accepted Jules and lovejones challenge and we will see what happens..first goal is to eat clewan the whole time&#8230;gonna be tough, eating clean gets expensive and work for me has come to a ginding halt thanks to our lovely economy and lack of construction in our area, and no one wants to pay me to be their chef right now&#8230;ARRRGHJH!!</p>
<p>ADHD, yes I know&#8230;back to the goals&#8230;eat clean the whole time&#8230;get back to my 6 miles a day routine 6 days a week and keep it under 50 minutes as I did before. Lift 5x a week&#8230;pics will go up tomorrow..I am embarassed about the reversing of the body since I last posted  pics in April, but that is motivation to get back into it&#8230;thanks to all who sent encouraging messages after my injury..most greatly appreciated..now its back on..</p>

<p>Thanks to everyone for all the PM&#8217;s and kind words when I first posted the injury (pain)&#8230;its truly made me feel like part of the family here.</p>
<p>Missing a week of running and lifting is amazing to what it does to the body..i lost a lot of pump&#8230;GGGGGRRRR&#8230;makes me angry, but I will be back at it tomorrow..Everyone take care and have a great Sunday&#8230;

<p>just another person trying to better myself in life..</p>
<p>I was always fit as a kid&#8230;started wrestling in the first grade and continued until I was a freshman in college&#8230;made the &quot;meat squad&quot; there, also discovered beautiful women and drugs and alcohol in excess which quickly stopped even the meat squad&#8230;don&#8217;t even know if there is actually a record of me being there..LMAO..oh well&#8230;.also played 4 other sports in high school so I was always active<br />
I battled drug and alcohol abuse as a young adult, through my 20&#8217;s and close to 27 yrs old&#8230;smoked like a fiend (2 packs a day for almost 12 yrs or so) At he right old age 29 I blew a disc in my neck and had to have it fused so that put me out of commission for close to a year of any activity except for walking and the 5 lb DB my doctor let me use..I have had 10 other surgeries since then (1996) so needless to say my physical conditioning suffered a great deal(drugs and alcohol didn&#8217;t help either)&#8230;.so here I am..clean, no drugs, 2 fusions in the cervical spine, 2 knee surgeries, a couple of surgeries for hernias and other problems in the groin area, 3 surgeries on my left hand to save a finger and now pushing 41..oh yeah..and near death last year from an allergic reaction to an anti-biotic&#8230;yeah..I am a walking M.A.S.H. unit&#8230;.held together by catgut and staples and some titanium in the neck&#8230;but&#8230;all I have to say is&#8230;I have made it through all of it with the help of God and here I am to get in the best shape of my life by Sept 9 of this year.</p>
<p>Thanks for all your support in making this happen&#8230;many of you are very inspirational to me and I greatly appreciate your comments and feedback and budding friendship&#8230;best of luck to all of you who read this in accomplishing every goal you set forth before you..
