“back” at it tomorrow
so today has turned out to be pretty good….did some yoga for about 1.5 hrs….found a few poses that weren’t so comfortable on the ol spine, so I shied away from those, but the stretch overall felt awesome…so…tomorrow I brave hitting the pavement again for a run..its been a week since I hit the street and the smell of the early morning air just beacons to me..I don’t know how long I will be able to stand the impact of the feet on the street, but I sure hope its a least 3 miles…I miss it..did I just say that..I miss running…who is this guy that has invaded my body and mind lately??
Thanks to everyone for all the PM’s and kind words when I first posted the injury (pain)…its truly made me feel like part of the family here.
Missing a week of running and lifting is amazing to what it does to the body..i lost a lot of pump…GGGGGRRRR…makes me angry, but I will be back at it tomorrow..Everyone take care and have a great Sunday…

Back injuries are so frustrating. Hang in there and train around it. If nothing else do 1000 toe lifts. At least you’ll be busy keeping count.

Glad to hear you’re working through the pain my friend and getting back into the swing of things. I too love those early morning runs. Things are just so much fresher in the morning!

I’m so sorry to hear about your injury and delay in training!!! When I’ve had to skip a workout due to work or other obligations, it’s torture! don’t give up, though!!! I’ll be praying for a quick recovery for you. Then I’ll buy you soda at the Griffin
