I was Dying by Sleeping!
I have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea.
Sleep apnea is a common disorder in which you have one or more pauses in breathing or shallow breaths while you sleep.
I was stopping breathing , on average, 138 times an hour.
On my test I never went into REM sleep.
Normally, the total time of REM sleep per night is about 90-120 minutes for an adult.
My Oxygen level during sleep was averaging only 80%.

Spring is upon us.
So the Workouts have gotten Heavier. Starting to put more of a load on the BBs, DBs, and Machines!
The Injured Pec is Responding Nicely. Carrying a Pump in Clothes. Everything is holding sleeves or shirt up! I had No Idea that a Torn Pec would last this long. I guess it is a part of me forever and will always have to be wary.
MAN O MAN…….Alot of Inspirational people on BB.com. Pics are great, Stories are Great and Provides me with the extra "Snap" to Push.

Alright, Alright,
I haven’t blogged in awhile…..HEHEHEHEHEEEEEEEEE
You see I have dropped weight and I am stronger than I’ve ever been. Yes, Stronger than ever before. I’m surprised myself. The wife loves it! I’m in hopes that she will follow suit and lift for some mass regardless 19 yrs is 19 yrs…yes I "wuv" her!!!! Hehehehehehe!!!!!!!!!
Still getting the "look" from the Roid boys till I lift; then it is Sir this, Sir that….LMAO……. Just treat people like people! Testosteronnnnnnnnnne! Whether your natural or "jacked" on it Boys will be boys regardless of age I guess…..Hahahahahaha.
May have something to do with jeans worn into the gym….LOL. Yep at around 10-11pm at night!!!

You see I love the Dumbbells over the Barbells!
Nothing personal against barbells except they are long, heavy, ugly, and usually grey.
Damnedest thing this Weightlifting thing!

GOT SLUGGED…….
This December….WOW…………Busy with Business, Busy with the Boys(sons), Busy with Illnesses. DANG IT! I haven’t been able to workout but just 5-6 times in December(on the front end of the month)!
But we read these for pick me ups so that is it for now on Negs…Hehehehe

I Was Doing real well on the Body. It was really starting to respond as in my last blog. I have a Really Good Base Now to start to Stack the Muscle on. It has taken 12 months from the Pec Tear but I’m There.
Decided to rest body till January ‘08(one more week) and hit it hard for the Spring/Summer season by Packing on the MUSCLE….HERE COMES THE PROTEIN!!!
Jan. ‘08 I will post some pics to show where I’ve come from and the base that I have now.
Patience and Commitment are the Keys!

Well, It Has Begun…………..
The last 2 weeks I have shown tremendous improvement in front Delt/Trap/Pec AFTER workout!
Ya, I know……AFTER workout. But HEY………..
That is the first step in having IT!
Thanksgiving is at Hand. I hope ALL can find peace within themselves; even if it is just for a moment, hold on to that moment.

My My ………..
Did Dumbell Inclines 80×12! Hmmmmmmmmmmm……Had 15 or 85×8 if I wanted it. Errrrred on the side of caution. Pec was sore today but nothing except the "usual" feeling after a chest workout since I tore it! So Aces!!!!
So quite the good news! Back to my old self on MOST weight in the gym. Pulldowns and Pullups still a sore point on the PEC. All other exercises are close to where I was at 10 months ago when I injured(tore) my Pec.
Not Bad!!!

Just Beginning What I Started!
I stay strong from those on this site that have progressed and are not willing to settle for anything less than "Tops" for themselves.
You See the "IRON GAME" is Selfish! It Is About Yourself! You Want to Feel good so you strive to do well….what is well in one’s mindset?!!!!
Yet One Feeds off of others who do well?……..HUH?……… Quite the "Conudrum"!
Well if they can I can? Right? RIGHT!!! Others provide the "FUEL" for me.

I’m having trouble sustaining my weight at 230-3 lbs, I’m down to about 226-7lbs.
My Pec Tear Injury can be felt almost always and it has been 8 1/2 months since I tore it.
I have gained 17 lbs since the injury and I am still Very Very Weak on Bench Press, but Incline DB is 70×8x3, Machine Press in at 170-200×8x3. Free Weight Bench Press is a No-Go….only 155×8x2 it "tweaks" the injury too much.
As of Yesterday I’m trying to up my PROTEIN intake tremendously. Growth has become stagnant over the past 40 days but my protein intake is not even 1:1 bodywt.. Geez thats 230 grams.day, I’m was only taking in about 150-170 if that much.
I’m now shooting for Protein consumption of atleast 180- 200 grams.
If anyone has suggestions on how to up protein in take, let me know. I’m already taking egg whites, VPX whey, and Probolic in addition to normal meals.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MY FREINDS ON MY FRIENDS LIST, YOU ALL HAVE BEEN GREAT!!! And Those of you I have yet to Befriend KEEP LIFTING!!!

Haven’t "blogged" in awhile but Make No Mistake…………………
Frogbacks is working out, moving the iron at a pace that caused me to have to go back and look through my journal………
Yes a journal… a very important instrument for me!
I found that my Pec Tear was bothering me, more than likely due to lack of rest. I seem to see Great Results with a 5 day split!
So Today I’m back on a 5 day split routine.
Have I Ever Said That Coming Back From A Pec Tear Is Tough?
Well It Is!!! It has been 8 months and it still lets me know its there. Unbelievable!!! You read that people say that it takes one year minimum. Well you think your different or you’ve never seen anyone keep track of their progress that long so you think you can do it quicker!
I don’t think so. I have come along way. I’m Incline DB Pressing 75s 3X10 blah blah blah etc…. Doing a fair amount of work! Its kinda a funny on Bodyspace I look small compared to alot of the other fellas out there but in real life I’m a fair sized guy. 5′11" 230lbs
People have to remember that this is a group of people( for the most part) that are different than most of the people in the world that we try and take our physiques to a high level and alot of people on this sight are already there and would stand out in most place if they chose the clothing to do so.
Ahhhhh SURE, We All Know Someone Bigger, Stronger, If Not More Than One…lol but you have to realize we all want to achieve!!!! Different goals, same goals, but achieve some result for our Physique!

Back from vacation in FL. Had to come home early; my father passed away. I tore a ’smidgeon" of muscle in the PEC 1st day at the Gym in FLA. It was a Chest Machine, sitting on 10.
I’m thinking "Oh, Just 100lbs, all machines are so light compared to free weights". WRONG!!! Thinking I was doing a warm-up set, I pushed and I felt and heard a little "squish" sound………….DAMNIT!!!
So I did not lift the rest of the time 1 1/2 week. Lifted when I came home and was able to do the same amounts as before vacation but I could definitely feel alittle (I’m not going to say sore) "bother" in Chest workout. DOMS later though.
Legs this evening was great, but I can tell that DOMS will be my buddy once again. JEEZ I only laid-off a short while!!!
THE GOOD NEWS……………….
I’m Home With My Wife & Kids and Back Working-Out. Life Is Good….It’s All Perspective. I’m Thankful For What I Have Not What I Want!
