Protein, Protein, and More Protein…..
Sunday, September 23rd, 2007I’m having trouble sustaining my weight at 230-3 lbs, I’m down to about 226-7lbs.
My Pec Tear Injury can be felt almost always and it has been 8 1/2 months since I tore it.
I have gained 17 lbs since the injury and I am still Very Very Weak on Bench Press, but Incline DB is 70×8x3, Machine Press in at 170-200×8x3. Free Weight Bench Press is a No-Go….only 155×8x2 it "tweaks" the injury too much.
As of Yesterday I’m trying to up my PROTEIN intake tremendously. Growth has become stagnant over the past 40 days but my protein intake is not even 1:1 bodywt.. Geez thats 230 grams.day, I’m was only taking in about 150-170 if that much.
I’m now shooting for Protein consumption of atleast 180- 200 grams.
If anyone has suggestions on how to up protein in take, let me know. I’m already taking egg whites, VPX whey, and Probolic in addition to normal meals.
