Back to fitness lifestyle?

January 2, 2008
Ok, I’m sick ad tired of being a lazy cow that I’ve become lately :) It’s totally enough. Some of you even noticed my absence, which I’m grateful for. Throughout the fall/ winter season I did an astonishing number of workouts - maybe 3 total ! And I indulged in all kinds of food - especially sweets, of course. But, you know what, it is pretty boring and frustrating. I was not happy. So good news - eating forbidden foods and lying on the couch  is not such a big pleasure. Especially when you start to feel sick, heavier, you lose tone and gain flub. And your energy runs out like an old battery. Did I mention I sleep 9 - 11 hours a day? I sometimes get up at noon!!!!  (I work in the afternoons). Yes, I know, some of you get yp. at 4 a.m. to do the cardio, then go to work for 10 hours.  So I’m ashamed even more. And I miss feeling healthy, energized. So my aswer is YES, back morning cardio, protein shakes, green tea and some more crappy crap :) But also, back to :( hopefully) : toned arms, skinny abs, looking good in jeans and being proud of my long legs again !

Winter spoils everything

December 7, 2007

I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I seem to lose all that I’ ve accoplished during summer when it gets colder in the winter season… I behave like a Neanderthal man who developed certain abilities to help him survive hard times (when there was not too much animals  around). I eat like crazy and I feel strong aversion to exercise - my organism wants to save every single kJ. Dammit. I don’t want to put on weight again - last winter I put on 10 pounds in a blink of an eye. Then again, I have no "steam" to fight. I live in Europe, and the weather is really cold, it’s starting to snow… So it’s not encouraging:(. If you have any idea how to fight my stagnation, please help me!I really need a strong kick in the a##, as New Year’s Eve celebrtions are on the way… Anybody? (begging)

War continues..

August 8, 2007
I’ve pledged war to those twiggy arms and unproportional physique… And I think I’ve make some progress - you can see it in my gallery. I’ve been doing weights for about 3 weeks. Shoulders, chest, bicep, tricep, back, a little legs and glutes. I  love the feeling after the workouts. I already see the difference in my strength, arms are rounder, chest firmer:) I feel great! Women who don’t do weights don’t know what they lack. I easily gain muscle..

I gain muscle easily thanks to my genes, I think. Also maybe I’ve got more testosterone? I heard it’s typical of dark-haired women. That’s why I’ve got pretty muscular legs without even doing any squads or lunges! However, I didn’t do any cardio lately, which is not good. I tend to focus my mind only on 1 thing at a time.  But I’m  still on a good path to gain a physioque of my dreams!

War

July 14, 2007

Ok, I’ve been feeling weak lately - so I stopped doing cardio for a while. However, I think I  can handle weight training. I declare war to those twiggy arms of mine!! Especially that I’m totally unproportional at the moment - I’ve got strong legs, ample butt.. and I’ve got a bit of anorexia going on at the top. Dammit!

The funniest thing is that I don’t do ANY leg exercises!! (because if I did like 2 squads, my thights would get bigger by an inch.. - I’m not exactly joking!!). And to gain some muscle at the top is a drudgery!

What I console myself with, is that  5 years ago I had bigger shoulders - I weight  trained often cause I threw javellin:) So all I need to do is to be more consistent with my weight workouts - and add bigger weights, challenge myself more. Somebody here said that developing and sustaining musle tissue is even more important than fat loss in the long run.. When I was more muscular, I noticed that I really could eat more - and I had to, as I got  hungry quicker.I felt really fit and healthy.  And your body turns into fat burning machine, hmm?

Let’s test that!! Let’s see how my upper body will respond to heavy training!I officialy declare war to twiggy arms! Time will tell who’s the winner of this bloody battle.

Fighter

July 10, 2007

Fighter is somebody who sets goals, aims high, and does everything to achieve it, aims at perfection, doesn’t suck. Does not tolerate excuses, is stubborn and maybe a little selfish - as his goals are a priority. Fighters know what it takes to succeed - and acknowledge the power of sacrifice. Nobody or anything is going to stop him!

Fighters are people like ChickenTuna, MsFitness68, and many other people here on BB. These are those unbelievable people who have the courage to persuit their dreams, and do not accept whining about the cruel world and their circumstances…

I was a fighter, called myself El Toro/ Taurus - (my Zodiak). But I suffered depression, and I ceased to be one. Now I want it all back - wanna wake up with that passion and make things work just as I planned them. See those results, achieve my goals and experience the glory of success! Yeah, Ive been through some darker times in my life, but now - No more drama!

I challenge YOU to be a fighter too! Reach within yourself to gain strength and you’ll shine! And report the fact of success to me - we fighters should stick together, hmm?

Midnight snack. Oops, I did it again.

July 8, 2007

I know exactly what’s hindering my progress. Did my cardio today, plus shoulders. Ate clean. But when evening came and turned into night, I craved wine. One glass, another… and one more. Then I felt great hunger (SURPRISE,SURPRISE :) ) I grabbed 2 buns with cheese. Dammit, I couldn’t control myself. Again.  Lack of strong will is driving me crazy. I’m a Taurus, you know. I’m supposed to be strong. When I was younger I was more firm and focused on my goals.

What happened to that girl? I just got to kick myself in the ass and make amends. Need to read ChickenTuna blog or something. How is it that some people have such strong motivation? Yeah, they do something instead of whining just like I do right now. Anyway, take care!

Uncomfortable

June 28, 2007

Recently I’ve discovered how the feelings about yourselves can influece your behavior, confidence and outlook on life. I’ve been to a party and I’ve not been comfortable with the way I looked. It was not so bad, probably, still I didn’t feel too good.. I saw all the imperfections, and it managed to  spoil my fun. I was mad at myself. I asked   myself some questions: why haven’t I taken care of myself more? I would have been more confident, less insecure… Damn, I’m gonna work hard on my body and get rewards for that!

RESPECT

June 18, 2007

I’ve just got a message that made me think about one of my biggest problems: confidence. This is the quality that I totally lack, which is really sad.If you don’t have respect for yourself, nobody will respect you. If you didn’t have the opportunity to test this statement - believe me: it is 100% true. Whenever I feel like S***, everybody notices it and starts to treat me accordingly - for no reason. As if people had an ability to subconciously sense your weaknesses!

That’s why I’m here. I hope that by working hard on my body, learning discipline and fulfilling my deepest hopes about my looks, I shall gain the respect for myself. This attitude will show and I will send a positive message to the world.

Just don’t tell me it’s superficial - don’t be a hypocrite! We all know that how you look it’s not JUST how you look :) Living the fitness lifestyle makes you stronger on so many levels! When you fight with your weaknesses everyday you "grow" mentally, you’re a better person each day!
