Wife got real honest with me recently (at my request and constructively) and pointed out that I didn’t put ANY effort into getting ready for this last show and that if I’m going tp compete again I’m going to have to get real serious about it. I need to loose at least 8" off my midriff and drop a ton pf fat.
I also learned that an arch rival of mine is planning to do the same show I’m shooting for in March and thinks he can beat me. Can’t let that happen.
I am 100% dedicated to being in top form for this show. From now until March nothing will stand in my way. Nothing will go into my mouth that doesn’t serve that purpose. I will mioss 0 workouts and 0 cardio.
I’m going to use this blog as my journal. You’re welcome to read it but I’m doing it for myself. Sharing is just a sign of my committment.

Been dieting now for five weeks. Have gone from 260 to 252 but even more significant is that I’ve gone from 17% bodyfat down to 12.4. My training was slowed last week as I has to have the outside tendon on my right bicep popped back into place. It’s feeling better and I should be able to go back to full training again tomorrow.

Just had the most incredible tricep workout. Immediately after working y chest we did three sets of close grip bench press (135,225,275) followed by three sets of cable pressdowns (200,245,290) and then two sets of Skull crusher "drop 50s." What they are is . . . I did 110 lbs for ten reps then immediately grabbed the 60 lb bar and did twenty more. When we were done muy arms were so stoked I ran in to measure them. My biceps remember were not pumped up but my arms had gone from their usual 18.5 to over twenty inches. They were so pumped they hurt!

Doing a Dave Palumbo’s Ketosis diet. Sucks but I’m loosing weight fast. I’m sure a lot of it is water and glycogen weight but . . .

Well Palumbos diet might suck but it works. I’ve dropped almost eight pounds in one week. I know a lot of that is just glycogen weight and water but my bodyfat is down two percent and my waist dropped a full inch! That’s all the motivation I need. Damn!

Weight stayed the same but my body fat dropped 1.2% Diet seems to have kicked me into an anabolic state. Looking thicker through my delt and traps. My waiste fell another 3/4 inch bring thr total to three inches since I started.
It’s easier to be disciplined when you can see the results.

Today was back day and I took nothing home. No sets, no reps, not one drop of sweat. I can’t lift my arms, I can’t stop panting and getting my Post-workout shake to my mouth took both hands. I’m tired, hungry and can barely keep my eyes open. But I’m soft, too soft for 9 1/2 weeks out.
Bodybuilding is the most honest thing there is. Everything you do is worn on your physique and you can’t lie about it. There’s no brown nosing for status or sleeping your way to the top. There’s no slacking off when the boss is away and pretending to work hard when he’s around. You can’t let some one else do it and take all the credit. It’s just you, the iron and the truth.
Better take some amino acids, some potassium, drink some water, and go do cardio.
