It is not easy to go through what you have over the years and it is even harder to tell people about it however you did exaxtly what you needed to do, confront it! by confronting it i know you will conquer everything you have aspired to do. i am motivated by your story! if i had half the dedication you do i would reach my goals twice as fast! how are things gioing lately?

Good luck man! I find that eating fruits instead of candy helps a lot. It's sweet like candy and satisfies the cravings, but it's healthy too! You can also replace soda with natural fruit juice. I also found that bananas virtualy elliminate hunger pains. Whenever I'm hungary, I shove down a banana and it gets rid of the hunger instantly!

Yep, that how it works! I am glad that you are able notice the little changes and know that all you effort is paying off. Baby steps lead to big progress. Your expectations seem realistic so you should have no problem staying motivated. Chart your progress so you can be sure to not miss out on every detail of transformation. Is your friend still helping you put togeather and diet and training plan?

I applaud your honestly my friend! You know the old saying " you can't fix what you don't admit is broke" (might not be old, it might just be Dr. Phil!) and you certanly are looking at yourself and being truthful about what got here. Obviously diet is key and you have some hard work ahead of you, but I think you are going to do it. Accountabilty is key. Keep posting your blogs and progess and we will all share in your success. I am going to add you as a friend so watch you suceed. Good Luck!

The first step is the hardest one....and you've just made that one. The rest is all the science of nutrition, physical fitness and just plain....sweat. Suggest you start with "Weight Watchers", perhaps the most successfull structured and highly supported weight reduction program in the world...at the same time find your local Fitness Center - they'll start you on a program that you can pace thru. You're young, you're body will respond fast. And above all, KEEP THE FAITH IN YOURSELF. You'll do it. Good luck...jeff
