The hardest part is getting started

Hello out there!

I am in my last semester in law school. I am very blessed and a lot of things are going well for me. One of things I would like to change in my life is my fitness and nutrition.

I started cleaning eating about two years or so ago. But in the summer of 2008 I interned with a law firm and there was free food (and alcohol) everywhere! What started as a “temporary indulgence” and an attempt to fit in, I ate and ate. This started my downward path of bad eating. To make matters worse I stop exercising regularly.

I find that I loose motivation to workout when I do not have a lot of stress. Believe it or not, I stick to a workout routine when I have a crazy schedule and loads of stress. Last summer I quit working and focused on school full-time and have had a pretty chill life since. Hence, I have had very little motivation to workout routinely.

Now that I am in my last semester I have the easiest semester yet (I think at least). But, I do have a wedding to plan and hope that the wedding, at least for now, will be enough motivation to keep my motivated on clean eating and working out.

I hope that journaling will help keep myself accountable. The hardest part for me is getting started so here…we…go………..
