A slight change.

I haven’t been too regular with my progress pictures and updating body stats.
I am going to try and update these on the first of every month keeping the same pose in the photos.
Maybe even twice a month but we’ll see.

Finally received some more sups for my recent birthday. Stopped using Tribulus because I can neither see nor feel any difference in my body or workouts.

Change of routine

I’ve decided to change my routine a little. Although i am aiming to gain some mass i want to have definition as well.
I see too many guys at the gym with huge arms but no real shape.

I’ve changed the reps in my workouts from 8 to 12 with four sets instead of three.
The idea is to do this for a month then switch to heavy- 6 reps, three sets for a month.
Only time will tell if this will bring results so i’ll post my findings in the future.

I went to Belgium a few weeks ago for my birthday and had a bit of a blowout. I’m talking lots of beer, waffles, chocolate and double fried chips drowning in mayonaise.
It was fun at the time but i’m finding it hard to be disciplined again. A lesson i have learnt from for next time.

On a more random note, Whats with profiles with only boob shots? Its not what this site is about and if they need their ego massaged they should stick to myspace. grrrrrrrrrr.

Hitting a wall

I had the day off today. Its tuesday now and i haven’t been to the gym since last thursday. I took the time off the gym partly because i was ill.
I felt so run down I just couldn’t face going to the gym and there is no point in over doing it when my body says no.
So today was the first day back and i managed once early afternoon for chest and triceps and once this evening.
Thing is, I feel so flat and unmotivated. Kind of like hitting a brick wall on the motivation side of things.
I’ve felt so fired up the past few weeks and  I’m sure it will come back.
Its so easy to eat bad when you’re tired or had a bad day and although I’m really bored of the food I’m eating i will keep going
Part of it is the nutrition side of things. I’ve cut out all I should have and I’m eating really good.
Usually when I used to feel a bit low about things I would buy some chocolate or something sweet to cheer myself up.
I had to go shopping after hitting the gym but i managed to stay away from all the junk food which has made me feel stronger.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day and i’m sure i will feel better about the whole thing.

A change of goals.

I’ve been hitting the gym pretty hard in the past month or so and i look forward to going.
Thing is, i’ve realised i’m not going to meet the goals i set in the beginning.
I set a goal of gaining around ten kgs but after an initial drop of a couple of kgs i seem to of levelled off….for now. What i didn’t consider is that although i may be gaining muscle i’m shedding fat, hence not much of a move in the weight department! So, i’ve edited my goal down a bit.

So for now my weight will continue to drop.
