It’s so much better to give, even if it’s just a little. Keep in mind this holiday, that there are many organizations that could use your help. That there are people that need just a little help to get by. So go out there, donate warm sweaters to keep someone warm, give a little money so someone can feed their family, and give a toy so a child can smile.
It’s always better to give, so come on give a little more. It’s good karma, and good for your soul.

I had my usual yoga session on Tuesday, and did a pose that threw my right knee out of wack. it didn’t feel too bad then, but I’m feeling it now.
So Tuesday started with a firedrill in my office building, that meant we had to practice getting out of the building in a orderly manner. My offices are on the 22nd floor of the building, so I had to walk down all 22 floors down, in heels! That felt like a pain already, it wasn’t fun at all. So I went to yoga to relax a bit, well, I ended up doing that pose that threw my knee out of sorts. So I was feeling discomfort already. My slow self decided that evening I wanted to go for a little run, because I felt it might help loosen my aching muscles there. Well, that didn’t help either, I made it worse and it felt more painful. So today I’m still feeling the pain, and it’s not good at all. I got a little massage yesterday evening that felt great, that helped for the timebeing (thanks stinky). I wll probably get it checked out on friday if it doesn’t feel better by then.

Man, some people on this forum need to take it easy. So I had a thread earlier, about how I was excited about the Comic-Con here in San Diego, and asking who’s their favorite hero/villain, yada, yada.. So people had a issue about how, there’s a thread about it already, stop asking the same questions, yada, yada. D*** people, didn’t mean to steal your glory from you, about posting a thread so similar to yours, because you wanted that topic all to yourselves. I posted that thread about my opinions, and my pics, instead of hogging up the space on your thread. People on there have the most negative things to say towards a girl, because what do I know about that topic, comic books +girl, nah. So what? People repost things all the time, and asking the same relationship questions all the time. Call them out, leave mine alone. But I did delete that thread, because I don’t want to take that little bit of glory you pathetic people have.
Anyhow, a brief rant. I’m still way excited about the Comic -Con though, and look forward to going. I won’t be making any threads about it though, just in case someone else did already.

Tuesday aren’t so bad, better than mondays.
Yeah for that.
Tuesday is yoga. So Tuesday is good and relaxing. but today’s Tuesday means a visit to the doctor.
Not so good. Never have good things to say.
But tomorrow’s Wednesday, so even better.

I’ve been doing yoga now, on and off for the past year. And it’s benefits have helped me a lot. So I came across this article in Self magazine, and it freaked me out a bit.

I guess it’s the worse case that could happen. But I try to be careful and aware at all times, when I am doing certain positions that don’t feel right. I know my body best, so I know what’s all good and what’s not. No need to worry here.

I got a great deal thru our local Costco, for a 2 year membership to 24 hour Fitness. It was too good to pass up, so why not. I ordered it the other day, and now it just needs to come in. I had been going to the Y, near where I work. Which wasn’t too bad, but the atmosphere was a bit different from what I would like. Too many corporate heads bobbing around, and not enough eye candy to keep me motivated. So now there’s really no excuse for me to slack, and not get in there. I’m ready now.

Happy Friday. Summer is still here and I love the fresh fruits that are available right now. I can eat bowls of fruit anytime, and all the time. On occasion I toss them all together for a fruit salad of sorts. This is one of my favorite ways to have my fruit. Give it a try, it’s pretty darn tasty. Oh, wait.. It’s yum- o!
You’ll need:
2 cups of blueberries
2 cups of raspberries
1 cup of chopped strawberries
½ c chopped pineapple
½ c chopped mango
½ c low fat sour cream
3 - 4 tbsp clove honey
2 tbsp orange juice
½ tsp vanilla extract
In a small bowl mix together the last 4 ingredients well. Toss with the remaining fruit items lightly. Chill for 15-20 min, eat and enjoy!

I decided this past weekend, I would try out something a bit different with my diet. I generally eat pretty good, but I tend to skip meals. I get in a lot of greens, rice, and eat meat minimally. I prefer seafood, but I find myself eating chicken most often. I don’t eat too much of the red meats, that I know I need. It’s always felt so fattening to me, and heavy. It’s been day four now of me going meatless! I decided that this may be good for me this week, so I can consume more vegetables, greens and drink more water. It hasn’t been bad at all, except for the one evening when a certain someone was eating a juicy steak in front of me. I will try this out for a few more days, then resume my regular diet. My energy level feels pretty good, and I’m getting good sleep . I have yoga today, so they that should be nice.

Wed, June 25th
I kept it a little short today, and was done in no time. Went down to the Y, and did some light work on the stationary bike and treadmill machine. I was feeling very lifeless this morning, and my body needed a little wake me up. I haven’t had anything to eat but a peach, and water, so that may be it? Anyhow, I’m going to indulge a bit on my birthday tomorrow anyways. Here’s what I did in the couple of minutes I was there:
Stationary Bike: 15 minutes
Standing Dumbell Curls: 10×10, 10×10,10×10
Treadmill Machine: 12 minutes

One of my peeves is when I see people throw trash anywhere and everywhere. MotherEarth doesn’t deserve that kind of treatment, we should all be more aware of how fragile she is. Just my peeve for the day. So I think everyday should be EarthDay!
