FEBRUARY GOALS!!!

I have decided to take a one month break from lifting to work more on my cardio.  My goals for this month are: bodyfat (25% or less), waist (35in. or less), running (20mi. or more), and weight (160 or below).  Please give me all the support you can

Hey buddy, it’s good that you’re setting these goals and workin hard, but you can go about this better. Do not take a week off of lifting to focus on cardio! Don’t do so much cardio either - 20 miles a day - that’s crazy! You don’t need to do anything like that. What you need to do is weight train 3-5 times a week, and do cardio on the days you don’t weight train or you can do cardio after the weights for 10-20 min. I do my cardio in the morning and then weights at 5:30pm - you could try that if you want. I only do 30 min 5x a week and 10 min after Sat. workout. Building muscle is what you want to do - it will help with burning fat. Also, eat good, clean, balanced meals… eat 6-7 smaller meals every 2-3 hrs to speed up your metabolism. Trust me… I know it sounds weird, I thought the same thing at first. Now my metabolism is sped up and I’m hungry after 2 hrs and I only need a small meal to fill me up.

Hey guys! I think what Garvey was aying is that his goal is 20 minutes of running. Not a bad goal really at all. I do agree with that you should not give up lifting weights.remember muscle burns calories fat stores it!

If you really want to rip down then drop the weight and increase the reps. look into circuit training it gets the blood pumping and you will notice a change.

    Good luck bro!
