Death by bar insertion....
Hump Day....
Gained 2 pounds this week so either the diet is kicking in or I am not working hard enough... 
Strength is coming back gangbusters. It feels good to reach down and grab a bar that doesn't feel quite as heavy as it did last week... just wish the shoulder would co-operate... I am mulling over going in and having it looked at, but I am not very high on doctors right now...
Lot's of kids in the gym right now... Had to chase one off of my Power Press rack this morning... dumb ass walked in off the street and made a beeline to it like he was gonna break it down while I was using it... I let him know in no uncertain terms that the only thing that was gonna get broke down if he touched that bar before I was through with it, was his scrawny little ass if he wasn't careful... I had 185 on it for my Military Overhead press and he looked like taking the 45's off the bar would pull his shoulders out of their sockets... I watched his "work ethic" after that... Curl 15 pounds for 10 reps and sit and talk to his buddy for 10 minutes.. Cable Curl 20 pounds for 10 and then go sit on the preacher curl machine and talk for another 20... Simply amazing... What a waste of his dad's money for the monthly dues...

Diet is pretty stable. Like I said, gained 2 pounds. I suspect that that 4# tub of power butter that disappeared last week has a lot to do with that.

All of a sudden this week I've had an influx of new people. It is like they forgot that the New Year started 3 weeks ago....Hope this doesn't mean they are going to stay with it longer. It sucks having to chase them away, if you are like me you lose focus and it takes a bit to get it back.

Nah, I scratch the fleas off my hide and keep right on stroking... the added anger helps when it comes time to push the bar... It aggravates me to no end that he didn't even ask if it was being used, he just walked up with me standing there next to it with a sweat rag and started to break it down... to top it off, he turned around and grabbed a set of 15# DB's and started doing curls between the rack and the mirrored wall.... Didn't phase him that I was pressing a buck eighty five over his left shoulder....
He was probably breaking it down so he could do curls in the smith machine....Yesterday was probably his chest day...like tomorrow will be chest for him..You know the schedule:
Monday Bi's Tuesday Chest, Wednesday Bi's, Thursday Chest, Friday through Sunday off.
Nah, both Smith machines were open... this was the free weight cage... I should have let him continue... I bet he couldn't reach up high enough to lift the 45 pound bar off the rack... I guess I could have given him a spot... :)
