Just an Update
Friday, February 15th, 2008I haven’t been around. Mostly due to time, but also lacking a little motivation. I’ve been hovering around 200 and 199. The only time I saw below 199 was right after a stomach bug. Not a cool, or permanent way to lose the weight.
I’ve joined a gym and hired a PT to help me get to my goals a little more efficiently. We’ll see what happens. SO far I like the way he can catch things in my food log that aren’t so good for me - unhealthy foods in disquise. I’m getting the hang of it and really know most of it - it’s just a matter of DOING it. There’s a little more accountability too. He’s not shy in telling me if I’m screwing up!
I like that.
His workouts have me doing high reps with a circuit type of workout while engaging most of my muscles. It’s killa! I seem to be making strength gains rather quickly. Either that or I’m adapting to the type of workouts he’s putting me through. Maybe both?
My eDiet’s PT thinks I could be ready to train for a figure competition in 2009. My weight loss is slow going and keeps me in a state of doubt. Trying not to get consumed by that feeling, but it weighs me down sometimes.
Anyway - still alive and kickin’! Looking for a new short term goal to kick start my motivation.
