I trained with my trainer today and beat another personal best. It was back day (my favorite) and I 1-arm rowed 60lb dumbbellsfor 2 sets of 5 after 1-arm rowing 50lb dumbbells for a set of 10. Worked on pullups too, and did better (those are so hard!)
Tomorrow is leg day #1 - heavy presses and squats. He made me do 90lb lungewalks last week.. wonder what’s up his sleeve for tomorrow.. whatever it is, I better get some rest.

360lb plate weight on the 45* press - it’s about 3x my bodyweight (130lb)
Smith squats are 180lb -
Lately I’ve been doing step-ups with deads for glutes & hammies:
20lb db in each hand - get into a deep lunge position with 1 foot on the bench. Pushing through the forward heel, stand all the way up on the forward foot, and match the other foot to it. Then place that foot back down on the floor, getting back in to the deep lunge position. Repeat the llift. Stay working on the same side for a count of 10, then switch and work the other side for 10.
When finished, get a heavy bbell (I’m using 80-90lbs) and do 10 Romanian deads. Rest. Repeat the superset 3 more times for a total of 4 supersets.
Glutes and hams are talking to me by the next day -
