I am really excited.  Tomorrow is weigh in and I think I have dropped a few pounds on my new nutrition plan - I signed up with Erik Ledin and Lean Body Consulting.  I have been on my new plan (food and training) for almost two weeks now.  So far so good - great actually.  I really feel satisfied and I really enjoy the foods I am eating.  Best of all no binging.  I think my increased control has to do with the quality of the foods I am eating.

I am also really excited about my training plan.  Almost no discernable cardio!  and I am finally seeing some positive changes in my lower body.  This is amazing as my username really should be "Cardio Queen" not "Fitness Princess" if I picked it based on what I did before - like 1+ h cardio each day and that is funny because I HATE cardio!! with a passion.  Love weight training and HATE cardio.
For those who are curious about my saga with Crosstrainer.  They never did email me or attempt to resolve my problems.  I purchased ProTrack 2005 and so far so good.  Really nice program if you are looking for software to use in tracking your nutrition and training.  Really intuitive to use and stable.  According to the folks at that company they are coming out with a new version next month.  If you do check it out and like it they told me I will be able to get the new version for free so that’s not bad in my book :)

See you tomorrow!

Buggy Crosstrainer Crashes Again - Taking 6 Months of Data With It

Monday, June 4th, 2007

Well for the second time in six months, Crosstrainer, the software program I use to track my nutrition and fitness training, crashed and for the second time in six months, I lost all my data!  Maybe I wouldn’t be quite so upset (not true) if it had happened five days ago at the start of my new diet but of course it crashed yesterday.  Of course, I emailed tech support right away and got no response.  I downloaded and reinstalled the program and well I am back at square one only this time I don’t have my nutrition and exercise data for the last six months and of course it was during this time that I began to eat clean and see some significant results so it really hurts!

I think I should take the hint at this point and look for a more stable program.  If any of you out there use a pc-based program to track your nutrition and training I would love to know what you use and if you like it.  Oh and if you don’t like it that would be helpful too!
