Why Body Building?
I think of body building as a work of Art…
I was no stranger to exercise, but like most people, I thought that my cardiovascular fitness was enough. When diagnosed with Osteoporosis (thinning of the bones) my doctor’s advice was to get into some sort of weight bearing exercise .
At 44 I took up weight training with a veteran body builder (30 years experience) from Venice, CA. Within one year, I reversed my bone density, with the side effect of an awesome new body and a new-found love of working out, and researching new ideas in anti-aging techniques. My passion led to becoming a Personal Trainer after years of living as an artist. My creative passion blended well with the art of mastering my own body and mind, followed by the rewards of teaching others to do the same.
I incorporate inspirational teachings of great scholars of Positive thinking, Visualization, and relaxation to help achieve my goals in all aspects of life!
Lifestyle consists of:
1. Fitness training cardiovascular (for heart and lungs), weight bearing exercise (for muscles and bones), and flexibility (for remaining or regaining suppleness).
2. Learning to eat properly no matter what your work and private life demand.
3. A renewal of the mind/body connection resulting in maximum performance in all aspects of life!
