weird week

well its been a weird week for me.  diet wise I’m doing great taking in a great amount of protein while keeping the carbs down which is what my body likes me to do.  Workout wise. Monday went to the gym for cardio it was packed and no equipment was up for an hour.  So I came home and did a video.  Yesterday went to the gym did 1/2 hour on the eliptical then came home and did some dumbells and other things on the exercise ball.  I’m currently trying to get my Gazelle here to my apt so I can add more cardio in as well as looking for a bench and free weights as the ones at the gym are tucked away behind the guys locker room.  Who knows someday in the near future I just may go through that lcker room to get to them.  But as for now… I’ll grab some and do my stuff at home.  Just need to keep myself honest and keep posting here.   Thanks for all the support everyone has freely offered it is greatly appreciated.  my size 10s are now getting lose…. YEAH

Yesterday was an off day as far as a workout went.  I had my 3 children with me so the gym was out.  But I did push-ups, crunches and leg lilfts here at home as well as some work with a resistence band.  Taught the boys 10 and 7 proper form for push-ups.  Is great seeing them get interested.  The 10yr old wants to be a Marine and said "mom teach me now so I can be prepared when the DS says "drop and give me 50"."  Ate pretty clean did eat half a cookie before I stopped myself and said I don’t want this and pitched it.  was short on water intake probably only 1 gal compared to the 2 I normally drink.  But 1 isn’t that bad.  Today I’m going to hit the gym and probably the treadmil.  One goal I have is to begin to jog.  I’ve wanted to for years just never pushed through it.   Thanks for all the encouragement here on the boards and for everyone that has posted all this great information.   The biggest thing that keeps me moving each day is how much better I feel after working out.

Starting this out now

Well today is Jan 4, 2007.. my day started with 3 Lipo 6 and a short at home work out.  breakfast was 2 whole eggs and 4 egg whits with cayenne pepper on them and 12 oz skim milk, lunch was 1/2 cup edamame and 3oz tuna. after noon snack ON double chocolate protein shake 2 scoops mixed with water and 1 ww english muffin with all natural peanut butter.

 I’ve gone from a size 14 to a size 10 since sept and plan to be a 6/8 by summer time.  Going to hit the gym in the am for cardio and then more of a workout at home.
