Johnathan is doing great thanks to all of you who took the time out of your busy lives to pray for him or keep him in your thoughts. He is a GREAT kid and has been such an inspiration though this whole thing. No matter what the situation he greets it with a smile on his face and an ok. I’ve never met someone as amazing as he is. The nurses and Drs alike are all very complimentary on this little man.. There was two Marines here on Monday one Current one former.. he was so Thrilled.. (posted pics in my gallery) Hopefully its home tomorrow where he can be more comfortable and mom can get back to working out daily. lol
I’ve been doing the steps up and down the 8 floors here at the hospital and my legs are telling me about it but it will be nice to get back to a REAL workout.. and start my 90 days all over of my P90X.. Have a lot of work to do and 3 weeks to make up for.. but the most important thing is he is doing WONDERFUL.. never know the kid had brain surgery.. I told him he is going to have to keep reminding me.. lol

He is doing well looks like surgery will be Monday or Tuesday they have a team of 6-8 drs to get together.. they are going from the underside through his nose to do the surgery and are very very optimistic about it. and have a greater than 50% chance his pituitary will still be functional.. in response to getting ahold of a local Marine recruiter here is a response from another forum that I was a part of for awhile but haven’t been in awhile.. from someone I’ve never even conversed with that lives about 14 miles from us.. its amazing what people can do on this internet.. my best friends have been made here and I THANK YOU all for who you are.. get a tissue and read what Jesse who I’ve never met had to say…………
[B]So here’s what I have going right now. I will need to speak to Colleen before I go any further because I don’t know how she will feel about any of this, plus I will need her sons sizes for some of the stuff. I spoke to a local Marine at the recruting station today and we are going to get a bunch of Marines to visit the hospital in full dress blues. He said he could also come up with some shirts and caps and a few other things.
I’ve also found a place that I can get a uniform, boots and cap with chevrons and boot straps., (what I need the sizes for). Going to see if an accomidation certificate can be made up and make him an honorary Marine right there. There are a bunch of other ideas bouncing around in my head, but this is where most of it stands now.
I also spoke to an “old” friend today. She’s a local news anchor for channel 4 and happened to be at the hospital today doing a program with wdve , a local rock radio station. She said she would like to visit when we do this. I don’t know if Colleen will want any of the publicity that may come along with this so I haven’t set any of this in stone.
If anybody has any other ideas or maybe any old Marine things or wants to help out in any way, just give me a pm.

Just a short note to ask everyone that reads this to take a second and say a prayer for my 11yr old.. we are at childrens hospital with him. we found out on wednesday he has a brain tumor on his pituitary. Things are prgressing fine but if you all wouldn’t mind keeping the little guy in your thoughts and prayers it would be great.. his question daily to the surgeons is "can I still be a Marine" he’s my little soldier and has been determined since he was 6 to complete this dream.. so if you all can keep him and his dream in your prayers I would greatly appreciate it. won’t be on much as I can’t have this on all day at the hospital but will try to stop in off and on. THANK YOU all very much ahead of time for your thoughts.

Had a tooth issue that needed addressed and let it go to long. So I ended up with a face like a chipmunk saving up for winter. 5 days of tooth pain and face swollen meant no workouts for this girl. Need to get back at it.. but not to much lost as nutrition has stayed 100% this week even without a face. Probably should have eaten more but ate what I could. Starting to up the sodium today to get ready to take some pics on Saturday or Sunday for a contest on another site. Don’t think I’ve seen as much progress as I wanted this far but thats noones fault but my own. Need to suck it up and do cardio as I always plan to and do ab work YUCK!! Now I have good legs and arms and a core more like jello not a pretty site there.
I’ve learned a lot about a woman’s hormones and how they impact fitness and workouts. And after tracking it all and watching for the last 2 months it is TOTALLY AMAZING how much our bodies follow a pattern ladies. every month on the same day you can almost predict ahead of time what you are going to feel like, think, and do or not do. The days that cravings hit, or laziness or bitchiness are all relative to your hormones. I’ve been going to buffmother.com a LOT and Michelle has a GREAT book that explains it all. and it is truly amazing. I think every man should read it to because I swear men get PMS also. lol guys you know its true..

So mom has a Wii Fit, yesterday she decided to see how fit I was.. so I did the Wii Fit test.. and much to my surprise it thinks I’m 56 yrs old and lack in muscle tone. We all found it amusing. it goes on balance and never being on one before I had no idea how to balance on the board.. lol well I flexed a bicep at my kids and my 11yr old pops off with "mom your shoulders look like my wrestling action figures just big spheres sitting up there" after we all got done laughing I had to go see for myself.. lol and darn they aren’t looking so bad.. guess thats from finally working my upper body with this P90X program and not just my legs.. but anyway.. I don’t feel 56 and think I have some muscle tone.. just thought this was amusing.

I’ve finally gotten it figured out!!! LOL ok wish it was that easy, but my nutrition is finally falling into place. I haven’t missed a workout in 2 weeks and as of Monday will be Starting the P90X 90 days all over.. my first 90 is up tomorrow.. if feel a LOT better than I did… but know that for the first 10 weeks I only put about 60% of what I can into it. So this time around its 100%. I have a lot going on in August and September and Can’t afford to lose one day of moving forward with this program. SO HERE I GO AGAIN!!! but not on my own like the song says.. I"m bringing many along with me.. My coach Dave0928 of course will be right behind me kicking my behind.. My GREAT AWESOME friend FrogPrincess72 (Sonja darn you do have a name) will be right beside me doing this.. Another Coach friend Brian, My mom (yeah she is going to workout again) doing the Slim in 6 program. and hopefully some of you will jump on … Lets make the next 12 weeks count more than the last 12. By October 19th the hips will look GREAT and the Belly better disappear.
Today when I get home Its 90min of Yoga X.. followed by tomorrows LEG/Back and Ab Ripper X.. then Monday I’ll start Week one all over again.. with Back/Chest I’ll try to blog at least once a week and do measurements once a month.. will do them again on monday.. new before pics (maybe) and definitely new after pics.. This body has a long way to go and it can’t get there without everyone pushing me everyday.. THANKS to all of you that are so kind and stop by to say hi everyday.. you keep me moving towards my goal of being in the best shape of my life by 40… wow its right around the corner

Ok all of you that have done or are doing P90X…. tell me Ab Ripper X is possible.. I have hip issues and end up getting cramps in my hips part way through the reverse bicycles. I wait a few reps and get back at it.. I think I’m making progress each time but still am having a hard time. Have considered switching it out for another ab program Hip Hop abs or Turbo Jam or something.. but really would like to hear from those that have had a hard time with it but managed to get through it..
Other than that part this P90X has become a HUGE part of my life, and even my 16yr old son knows that mom won’t miss a workout.. told a friend of his today ummm "mom said workout is at 4 we better go its 345.. so they left.. Lovin that he is realizing the importance to me.. now if the brat would just quit doing 15pull ups and laughing at my 2 lol oh well in time..
ok in the shower with my sweaty self.. Have a great evening..

I think I lost a week somewhere in my P90X yes should have been better at "writing it down" but I wasn’t.. I’ve been pretty consistent with both diet and training.. these next 4 weeks will be the hardest hit .. then I’ll take a week to reflect and start it all over again.. next time fixing all the things I’ve screwed up this time around.. the biggest being "writing it down" I have to say these workouts are amazing and everytime I do one it is always harder than the time before because I find I push myself harder each time. Today was Legs/Back day.. yes my legs are toast.. 75 calf raises with 20lbs of weights doesn’t seem like much but at the end of the leg workout after 2 min of lunges on your toes and many other things those 75 calf raises weren’t easy even for my monster calves.. (although I do wish I had 30s to use) lol
Stick with me the next four weeks and we shall see how things go.. my nutrition is going really well I don’t crave that sweet stuff much anymore.. no more chocolate chip binges.. my weakness now is having a glass of milk before bed.. can’t decide if its good or bad but hey so far it hasn’t put poundage on so I’m ok with it. Started taking Animal Cuts by Universal and have seen some good results with it.. hopefully all will continue and I’m going to find a gym where I can get my bodyfat done and findout where I am.. so I have a starting point for my next round.
Thanks again to all of you for pushing me and being such great support.. Anyone doing P90X or thinking about it hit me up would love to hear your opinions or give you a bit of mine.. lol heck those that know me know I don’t mind putting out my opinion kinda a loud mouth at times.. and when it comes to P90X and Beachbody you will find I’m a loud mouth.. LOVING everything about this program and the company..

OK by now everyone around knows I’m doing P90X which I love and can’t tell you all the changes I feel INSIDE my body.. muscles growing I can now do 2 chin ups and a pull up.. no not a lot but a far cry from the 1/8th of one I could do 4 weeks ago.. my back is feeling great (such a weak point before) and just can really feel things tightening up..
well at least UNDER the lining of subcutaeous guck I have under my skin.. diet I thought was pretty tight but well ummmm I guess not.. because with all the worko I’ve been doing I’ve not lost one ounce.. on the scale today was at 157.6.. I could use a few excuses (I am female) but well I’m not into excuses.. I have to buck up and figure out where I’m going wrong SO I’m going to do something I’ve never done and well I guess write everything down I eat.. right down to well if I steal something off a kids plate.. lol yes the calories do still exist if the kid took a bite out of it.. THROW IT OUT!! lol I think I need to up my water intake and well who knows.. really need to scrutinize what the heck I’m doing.. as one of my other blogs said I’m shooting for following in Dave’s footsteps and winning the Million Dollar Body Game shooting for July or August as an entry SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this chickie has to move it up or move it out… well I’m going to do both.. move up my expectations and move out the junk that is keeping me from doing what I want to do… so any and all butt kickers are welcome..
