I ran across your blog and wanted to encourage you to keep at it! It sounds like you're doing a great job. Keep at that Cardio, it will help you set a good baseline for increasing your overall fitness. I read your "Fat Mikey" post and wanted to say that I was in the same place as a youngster and have always struggled with my weight. I'm so encouraged to see guys who are sticking to it and keeping themselves in the gym. I have so much going on these days it's sometimes difficult to get up in the morning and get 'er done, but it's worth it. Thanks for blogging, maybe I'll start too!

Hey Mike, looking great! How is the cardio going? You sounded very motivated to hit the gym eveyday and hope your transformation is going well. I have a few cardio tips I could share with you if you hit a plateau. Wish you the best of luck.

Hi Mike, well done mate. Remember consistancy is the key. everybody is searching for the magic formula. The good news my freind is that it does not exist, its just hard consistant graft, and judging by your results so far you have what it takes my freind. Well done! Regards Kev. www.foundrygym.com

Great progress! The scale isn't the end all be all, but trashing it altogether doesn't work either. It is a good reminder to hit our goals and used in conjunction with BF measurements we can determine how much fat vs. how much muscle we have.
Look at it like this... if seeing a lower weight on the scale gets you pumped and hitting it harder then it's a good thing.

"LMAO!" on the "so would
it kill you to check in and comment once in a while??? :-)" comment!

HEY, I'm checkin' in, yo! How goes?!! :)

Very cool blog. Thanks for sharing! I'm kicking myself for not driving to NY for the pro show there today. There's a women's strength competition following the prejuding - push ups and chin ups because the auditorium wouldn't allow free weights. It's at the Tribeca.

Save some bucks instead as well as wear and tear on the car. There will be other shows this summer, so I can spend those savngs then. :)

Anyway, I definitely agree that bodybuilders are the greatest people in the world. I was at the gym, a local Planet Fitness, and a radio commercial on their gym network announced the words, something like, "no judging, no bodybuilders" and I hollered at the speaker on the ceiling: "HEY, THERE ARE BODYBUILDERS HERE! SOME OF US ARE SKINNY AND SOME OF US ARE FAT, BUT WE'RE STILL BODYBUILDERS!!!"

Have a great weekend, man. And thank you for checking in on my BodyBlog recently. You're a good man, "Brooklyn Mike".
