Bodybuilders are the greatest people in the world…where did they get that bad stereotype.
I sent an e-mail to this guy http://bodybuilding.com/fun/trans_o4016.htm congratulating him on getting the over 40 Transformation of the Week on bodybuilding.com. He started training at 47 yo and competes at 50! And the very next morning I get this reply…

This guy is in the UK so there is absolutely no profit motive in his offer to help, and not likely that I would take him up on it, but How
cool is that?
By the way, the good group of people he is talking about includes all the support I get from the guys at bodyspace.com (so would
it kill you to check in and comment once in a while???

Anyway, just thought I would share this.

I agree. I’ve gotten kind words and unsolicited advice from everyone I’ve ever contacted.

If it wasn’t for progress pics I think sometimes the guy in the mirror would trick us into thinking nothing is happening! Great work!

"LMAO!" on the "so would
" comment!
it kill you to check in and comment once in a while???
HEY, I’m checkin’ in, yo! How goes?!!
Very cool blog. Thanks for sharing! I’m kicking myself for not driving to NY for the pro show there today. There’s a women’s strength competition following the prejuding - push ups and chin ups because the auditorium wouldn’t allow free weights. It’s at the Tribeca.
Save some bucks instead as well as wear and tear on the car. There will be other shows this summer, so I can spend those savngs then.
Anyway, I definitely agree that bodybuilders are the greatest people in the world. I was at the gym, a local Planet Fitness, and a radio commercial on their gym network announced the words, something like, "no judging, no bodybuilders" and I hollered at the speaker on the ceiling: "HEY, THERE ARE BODYBUILDERS HERE! SOME OF US ARE SKINNY AND SOME OF US ARE FAT, BUT WE’RE STILL BODYBUILDERS!!!"
Have a great weekend, man. And thank you for checking in on my BodyBlog recently. You’re a good man, "Brooklyn Mike".
