Cool Stuff

One of the coolest things I find about this bodybuilding journey is how every now and then I notice a new little bulge here or there.  Don’t want to mislead; I am NO Mr Olympia (yet) !

 

Today I noticed that my forearms are noticably thicker and starting to show some definition.  Interesting since we never do anything to specifically target the forearms, but I guess they get a workout whenever we do arm stuff.

Its been a while (again)

Once again I receive this email from bodyspace saying that I am missed!  I don’t know where the time goes…used to be not so long ago I had so much time to spend out on the net.

Anyway, the workouts are going great…strentgh gains and muscle growth from each session, it seems.  The cardio has been good; not great but good so thats something. And the food…well the food has been pretty good too I guess, but could always be better.  Overall, I would probably give me a B maybe a B+.

Been working out with my trainer twice a week; each workout I am given something new and challenging. Happy to say that most times I meet the challenge.  I am now adding a third weight workout on my own, so that’s 5 cardio sessions and 3 weight sessions a week. So I guess that is where the time has gone!

The Bayshore challenge ends in a few weeks. Don’t think I will have much measureable progress by there standards; bodyweight and bodyfat.  The Labarada challenge is only half way through; still six weeks to go.  I am sure, based on my progress so far, that I will have great new progress pix by then.

I was missed….

So how cool is this BodySpace site? I received an email reminding me that I had not posted in a couple of weeks and that I was missed.  Alomost made me feel as guilty as my Jewish mother (RIP)!!  So here I am ; still alive and moderately well and still battling with the fat bulges that seem to start to go but come back again!

 

Actually, I have been pretty good, if I do say so myelf.  Had about 10 straight days of good cardio along with my weight workouts with Josh, then took a few days off cause the body just wasn’t willing!  But I am back…just finished 30 minutes on the elliptical and will go do some chest and triceps stuff after I am done here at the computer.

 

How are the challenges going? (The Bayshore 8 week challenge and the Labrabda 12 week challenge)  Don’t really know.  Haven’t had my BF measured for 3 weeks due to circumstances beyond my control; total bodyweight is about the same but my trainer tells me to throw the scale out the window, so who knows?  Maybe it is better not knowing cause it keeps me motivated to behave in the gym and in the kitchen until the next time I get some numbers!

Food has been good too; not 100% but maybe about an 80%  Thats a "B" right?

 

Anyeway thats enough of a cooldown time for me; back to the weights.  And I will be back posting soon, or at least when BodySpace lsends me another email to tell me I am missed!!
