Today I just hit the abs while the rest of my bod recovers and hopefully builds some more muscle mass. It was actually kind of nice not being in the crowded free weights area with all of the other Monday peeps. What is it with people who come to the gym on Mondays? I was able to do my ab routine with no waiting and I was out of there under 30 minutes. I’m good.

Ok , so I didn’t rest as scheduled. I was to rest today and do Chests tomorrow, but Monday’s are too busy at the gym, so I changed up.
Today was Chest day of my 9 Day Rotation routine.
For the second straight day I had a good lift. Today I worked out my chest. I started off with DB Bench Press and continued with ISO Hammer Incline Bench, DIPs and Cable Chest Flys. As usually I do 4 x 10s. I chest was really pumped after my lift.

Back workout today:
Today I felt really strong in the gym. I guess my resting last week helped my lifting. Today I worked on back and really had good lifts with Yates rows and wide grip pull ups. I hope to continue good lifts all week log.

I just completed a 3 week 12 day rotation program last Thursday. I’m taking a few days off so my body can recuperate and rebuild itself. I normally don’t like to rest, but in reading and taking advice from many of the peeps here; it is the best thing to do if I want to gain more muscle mass.
On Saturday I brought my 8 year old son to soccer registration and after that we practiced at the park and watched a few kids playing soccer games.
On Sunday I went fishing. It was a great day and though the fish were not biting, we got to hike the area which was a nice thing to do. The nice thing about fishing in the mountains is you have other things to do if the fish don’t bite.
This week I will be starting another lifting program. I’ll keep you posted when I begin.

I had a good lift today. It was Chest and Shoulders day.
Because of some shoulder discomfort the last month or two, I’ve been taking it easy on some lifts. I’ve been concentrating on more form than lifting more weight. I think I’m getting good results as my recent blog stated I gained 2 inches growth in my chest.
What I think really worked for me was the addition of the weighted dips as well as the rotation of my lifting programs every three weeks. I just finished a 3 week, 12 day rotation program today. Tomorrow is my scheduled rest day. I may rest from lifting a few days and do some running. Of course I will be doing my ab workout routine.

Today I worked on hamstrings and calves. I started off not really being into it, because I just came back from the dentist. It was not bad as I first thought. I started off with SLDS and then began my DB lunges. I don’t know how some women do lunges so effortlessly. I think the dang exercise hurts. Anyways, I completed it and moved on to leg press, seated leg curls and finished with seated calf raises.
I didn’t feel my strongest today, but I did pull off my workout for the day.
I still feel I need to get back into my running. I have yet to find a routine that matches my current work schedule.

Ok today was measurement day and I’ve gained a solid 2 inches on my chest. to make my chest 46.5 inches. My last measurement was back in July 08. What I think increased my chest was my weighted dips and my continued rotation of routines every 3 weeks. I also had a ½ inch on my thighs. I wish I could report on bigger arms, but they remained the same at 16 inches.
I’m happy with my results. J

Today was just abs day for me. Many of you guys really motivate me to get my wash board abs. I’ve purchased ab straps a few months ago and I am pleased that it was money well spent. The cheapest place I found was online vs my local sporting goods store. One thing I have to say that my core has definitely improved. If I could only get more disciplined in my diet I’d get my abs exactly where I want them. I’m still on target for next summer and maybe one day I’ll feel more confident with my shirt off in public.
