I’m feeling better and should be able to hit the gym tonight. I really missed it the last two days, but it was best that I rested so I can really hit the weightroom.
Yesterday I should have been in the gym working on abs, but for some reason I have come down with a cold and I was really tired. After work I just relaxed in bed and crashed about 9:30pm. Maybe my body was telling me that it needed some rest. I hope to feel better today and get to the gym tonight.
I have been stuck at 16 inch biceps for the last few years. For some reason I could not gain more size on my arms. I finally hit 16.5 inches! That may not be big for many of the guys out there, but for this 48 year old fart I’m happy with that!
I owe it to the people on the forums posting some great workout routines!
I got to the gym and felt my blood sugar was dropping. Having type 2 diabetes can screw your day and a sugar drop can come when you least expect. I went to the business next to the gym and bought a bag of skittles and a gatorade. After about 10 minutes I felt better and was able to work out. After I was good and ready I did my horizontal push/vertical pull routine. I felt really strong after the first 15 minutes and finished doing some cardio outside the gym.
I first stated with 4 sets of side running, then 4 sets of high knees and finished off with 4 sets of sprints. Doing more lower body building has really helped my sprint training.
Glad I lifted heavy yesterday and today was just abs. The ac in the weight area of the gym went out. There were guys sweating all over the place and they were not even lifting hard. Hope its all fixed by tomorrow.
I did my horizontal pull/vertical push routine today and felt pretty strong. The diet is going well and I have not craved the bad stuff in the last two weeks. I need to do more cardio to really start shredding the fat. Wish me luck and best to you all!
It seems to working for me. Good bye to bread, tortillas, rice, popcorn, candy, sugar, deserts, and other fun food. It was nice for a while, but you just seem to leave me with too much body fat! Don’t let the door hit your a__!
I’m cutting and I feel more stronger in the gym, as well as losing 4lbs.
Used my ab straps to the max yesterday. Hanging leg pull ins, straight leg lifts and twists, in addition to my regular routine. All I can say is ouch, don’t touch me!
