Today was chest, back and abs. I had a good lift. I felt energized and lifted for a good 1.5 hrs. No cardio today, because it rained. I was fully dressed for a run this afternoon; long sleeve compression shirt, etc., but I decided not to run. I just recovered from bronchitis and I don’t want to get sick again.
Goodnight from California!

Today was my abs day. There were not many people in the gym. Perhaps only 5 total during my time at the gym. It was really quiet, considering the NFL games have stopped between the last playoff games and the Super Bowl. This is the time I dread the most, because college FB has ended and the NFL will follow soon. It has been raining a lot here in So. California. Well, for California it has. Our mountains have had good amounts of snow and some of our freeways have shut down. Unfortunately we had a few avalanches and 3 people had died. This is unusual for us in S. Cal.
Tomorrow begins another week. I hope it’s not too cold for my 3 mile run. As far as the workout in the gym, I have chest, back and abs scheduled.
Have a great Monday everyone!

I had another good workout day. I worked on shoulders, legs and did some cardio. I felt energized and made some weight increase strides. In the past I didn’t like to workout my shoulders, but after wearing tank tops during summer days, I noticed that my shoulders did not match the size of my arms.
I have to admit, of all of the exercises that I do, I don’t like the pain I feel when working out my shoulders. Am I a wuss? I don’t know, but I experienced injury to my shoulder years ago. I have been timid about training my shoulders, in fear of getting injured again.
Moving forward, for over a year, I have worked on my shoulders and I can definitely see a difference. I am using workouts plans from Men’s Health magazines and other training plans on the web. Like most of my workouts, I use dumbbells and some cable machines.
Some of the guys I see in the gym have huge bolder shoulders. Perhaps, one day I can be at that level. For now, I am happy on where I am.

My 3 mile run was completed earlier in the day, but I am noticing my time completing this run has been getting longer. I still had a good cardio workout, but any slower I would be running backwards! :) It was cold here yesterday, ok not as cold as everywhere else, but for California, it was cold. Long sleeve compression shirts are a good thing!
My evening workout went really well. Yesterday I did my favorite workout-biceps, triceps and abs. I felt energized last night. GNC Ultimate Thermo Pump has been working for me. I used to use GNC Thermo Burst. UTP has the same ingredients as TB, but with it has little more extra ingredients.
Friday’s are hard to get motivated for a run, but I hope to do so today.

I had a great day today! I worked on chest, back and abs. I felt really energized. My supplement intake before the lift was EAS Whey Protein and GNC Ultimate Thermo Pump. I felt really good throughout my lifts. As far as cardio, I could only run 1 mile and walk one mile earlier today. My legs were still sore from my leg workout a few days ago.

It was abs day today. My favorite exercise is the High to Low Wood Choppers. Great for the core!

I had a great workout today. After taking my first dosage of GNC Ultimate Thermo Pump and EAS whey protein drink I was off to the gym. I felt really explosive at the gym. It was shoulders, legs and abs day. I don’t usually care for shoulder work, but I have been noticing growth, and that is a good thing! My down to this day was after I entered my workout in my progress report and for some unknown reason the data was lost. Oh well, I hope I recall the weights and numbers tomorrow.

When I lift in the gym, I use dumbells and I superset. I sweat when I work out and I often notice that the other guys don’t. In fact they take longer rest periods between lifts. What is a mistery to me is why some of these guys are much larger than I am? I’m not small at all, but when I am in the gym and I see these guys, I say to myself, " I sweat when I lift, why don’t you?"

Well, I finally got to use my new gym. Fitness-19 is a great place for me and my family. We used to be members at LA Fitness, but after being there for a year and only using the raq ball courts 2 times, it seemed silly to pay $80.00 a month. We joined Fitness 19 and we are now paying only $34.00 a month and in addition, it is closer to our home.
The F-19 has good equipment and the set up is really nice. I was really energized at the gym and I can see myself making new gains with my workouts. I can’t wait to go back there again!

After some good football this past weekend, I’m back and I hope to have a good workout week. Last week, I only ran M-F. I didn’t hit the gym, because my new gym is still not open. Still, having home equipment, I should have worked out. I did work out the weekend before last and I did lift on Satuday. I’m trying to get use to use this workout tracker. It seems slow at times to enter the data, but having a good database may be helpful.
