I’m visiting my brother for Thanksgiving and we plan on lifting today. Is there anyone else doing the same?

I’m sick and can’t lift today! I enjoy lifting and catching football on the big screen TVs in the gym. This blows!

The Murrieta Youth Soccer League Coaches won 4-3. As in the past years, the soccer match was highly competitive.
The Murrieta Youth Soccer League coaches battled a team comprised of law enforcement and fire department members from the Murrieta Police/Fire Department and Riverside Sherriff Department on Saturday, August 22nd. This was the 19th year of the annual COPer Cup.
The game started with Police Units and Fire Engines driving up to the soccer field and a distraction device was deployed to start the match.
During half-time, the Murrieta Police Department provided a K-9 Police dog demonstration and the Murrieta Firemen soaked the kids with the Fire Engine water hose. Many family members were on hand to enjoy this event.

I’m playing in a soccer match this weekend called the COP’er Cup. We’ll be playing some of the local law enforcement and firemen in the city/county. I heard last year we beat them pretty bad, so we expect more of a game this year. We are practicing against a 19U traveling team for our training. Last Saturday I ran my butt off playing striker. I was really sore the next few days including today. I had a light practice today and I hope to be fully recovered for our Saturday game. I have been told this is a very competitive match. No gym time for me until the match is over. One comment though, my lower weight lifting has really helped my legs for soccer.

Ok, so I’m on vacation with the family in Vegas. All that I could think of is what kind of gym does the hotel have. Am I the only sick one who does this? Come on; let’s be honest here. When we arrived to the hotel to check in, I asked the clerk what time does the gym close. I was told it closed at 9:00pm, so looking at my watch and planning my evening I said to myself, I got a whole hr. I’m good!
So we get to the room and my family wants to go eat. I mention that I want to go lift and I get mocked by the family. As I was getting my gear together, all turns bad as I notice the floor is wet and we have to change rooms. Not a big deal, but I already unpacked the bags! By the time we got settled into the new room, it was too late to lift.
Moving forward, I had two really good lift days in the gym. There were two decent benches and some good DB weights. Some peeps may call me lame for lifting on vacation in Vegas, but hey I wanted to write about something in my blog. Yes, I’m adicted, but so are you if you are reading this post.
Take care,
M-

I’m now on the 8 day rotation and I just love arm days. Yes, I was in the gym a long time, but it was well worth it. My son seems to think I was there too long.
Take care

I had a good day in the gym today. Its hot outside in California, so being in the gym with the ac on was nice. Glad the owner fixed the ac unit. I worked on Hamstrings/Traps/Calves and Cardio. Yesterday I stood on the scale and noted I lost approx 9 pounds. Doing some cardio aftet the lifts and living on a 0 carb diet has really helped. I feel stronger in the gym and it seems to be getting the muscle growth I am wanting.
Have a great weekend!

So far so good. I’ve lost approx 6 lbs of body fat and I have become even stronger in the gym. I no longer eat any pastas, breads, tortillas, and other wheat or flour products. I’m basically on a low carb diet and I’m loving the results. I wish I started this months ago.

Visiting my mom this weekend and going to the local gym to lift. What a great weekend this is. I had a great lift today. I worked on arms and calves today. It was a great lift and I felt really energized in the gym. The gym is ok, it has everything I need but they sure can turn up the AC more! It only cost 7 bucks for the day, so I say it was money well spent. We’re having a BBQ right now and I can’t wait to eat. As far as tomorrow, the gym is closed, so I think I’ll go down to the local park and work on my abs there.
Everyone be safe and have a great time with your family or friends.
Remember what date is today and think how blessed we are to live in the United States. No matter if you think things are screwed now, I bet you are doing a lot better than most of the rest of the population on this planet.
Take care and be safe!
God bless!
