Intensity
So I’ve been hitting the gym pretty hard for the past few weeks, doing cardio like it’s nobody’s business. I’ve been doing at least 30-60 min. each session, at least 4-5 times a week. This frequency is unheard of in my training, since I hate, hate most forms of cardio unless it’s spinning, kickboxing, dance or organized team sports. But my secret has been mixing it up: walking on an incline on the treadmill, intervals on the crosstrainer or bike, doing hills on the arctrainer. I have yet to attempt the Stepmill since I almost fell off the machine last year. Lol. And you know I’ve been diligent with the weights, focusing on legs, glutes and abs. And my diet has never been cleaner. See what trying to look like a million dollars in a designer bikini can do for a woman’s motivation? Here’s a sample dinner meal:
6 oz. of grilled halibut
8 asparagus spears
1/2 cup of strawberries (for my sweet tooth!)

I’ve been increasing the cardio as well, but it is…BORING!!! I’ll take a tip from you and mix it up. I bought a heavybag and that is a monster for interval training.
I must say that it is paying off for you, you’re looking very good with your progress.

That cardio looks intense. At least you are doing it and not making excuses for NOT doing it. Keep up the good work. You are looking good and your progress shows.

yes, right now cardio is going to be my best friend. I didn’t do any this morning and as a result, I slipped up and had some peanut M and M’s (oh no!) and a small bag of bbq chips. only 150 cals though. Lol. So tomorrow I will be up bright and early to do some intervals and maybe tack on an extra session after I lift in the evening.
