Workouts, the Economy, and You
February 5, 2009Not sure if this will resonate with many of the BB.com readers, but my hope is that it will. I’ve been recently "displaced" from my position in October ‘08, a victim of the illustrious banking industry upheaval. While that layoff brought about many changes to my life and that of my family, there have been several constants throughout these months. Most importantly, my faith in an unshakable God, has been my foundation throughout the days of wondering what’s next. I know what it takes to survive in the world today, but I also know that there is another page to my life’s saga and I know the Author! Next, my family has always been there for me, and continues to do so. Thank you very much. Finally, while the stress does continue to run high these days, I have focused much more on my workouts, my health, and my family’s health. This time in the life of my family has allowed us to prioritize our health and fitness, where it has become part of our daily lifestyle.
While being jobless was not my choice, I have chosen to learn more about myself, my priorities, and passions. As we begin 2009, look inward to discover what makes you tick. Whether your passion is to compete in bodybuilding competition, or lose some pounds and uncover your abs, go for it! Stop just thinking about it, and do it! I am!
