Spring is in full swing and so is my program for a "summer body". I tend to put on more bodyfat in the winter, so as soon as the weather starts to warm up a bit, I feel more motivated to kick the workouts into high gear. It must be the sunshine…it’s ALWAYS easier for me to get going with longer days and sunshine! By the end of this month, I hope to reach my plan weight of 124-125lbs., and drop some serious bodyfat!…No worries; it’ll happen!

Just had a hellous workout week…ending with leg day. Well of course I feel as sore as heck, but it feels great too!
So glad to be going at it hard again, but I sure wish I had a workout partner, (that’s another story!). Although I am a trainer, I feel that actually having someone train ME would really push me over the top. I have made new goals for myself and really need a boost! I’ve gotta post a few new pics to show my progress, (sigh)…Impossible is Nothing.

Just as I thought…I about had an attack when I got my body assessment info. Bodyfat was way up!
So yeah, I gotta do some work to get it all back in order…and I WILL!!! This has been the longest time, (4 months) since I began weighttraining that I’ve taken time off from the gym. What makes it so bad is, I really didn’t want to, but my doc insisted and I know in my heart it was the right thing to do…but the numbers SUCK! (No, I’m not telling…yet!)
No excuses…its back to work. I need all the encouragement I can get!!! Somebody help me! lol

I’ll get those done on Saturday…I know for a fact I’ve put on "winter weight"…I’m a little scared of the numbers on Saturday but that’s why I drag my butt into the gym and workout as hard as I do. My new regimen starts Super Bowl Sunday so I’ll be in good shape well before beach season!

That is a retoricle question lol…I took some much needed time off from weight training to heal some injuries. But I tell ya, now that I’ve gone back in hard core…man! am I feeling it! My legs feel really good, but my upper body strength really took a hit with this time off. I know it’s gonna take some time, so I’ll be patient, (well for now anyways). Epsom salt, and Stop pain are my new best friends lol…but I’m gonna keep on keepin’ on!

Well 2007 has come and (almost) gone. I have been out of it for the fall and into the winter. Having taken some time "off" from serious weight training was something I needed to do. It was really hard but I had some injuries that weren’t going to get any better unless I stopped aggravating them. My doc said I had to or else! This time I believed him…yeah it only took a year or so lol.
Now that I’m feeling better physically, I am soooooo anxious to get back in the gym and seriously do my workouts and get back in tip-top shape. Thank goodness I have been watching my diet, esp now during the holidays…all in all, I’ve been a good girl
Now it’s time to take control!!!

Now that summer is here, it seems that eating right and staying in shape is so much easier than in the cooler months. I guess it’s because we get out and do more, play more…I don’t know!
Anyways, I wish for sunshine all the time, but than again, things would get a lil’ dull lol.
The Olympia is coming up soon…this will be my 5th yr attending. It is the best show, although I haven’t been to the Arnold yet!
There’s always next year!

With summer time being a very busy time, it seems the gym and working out take the back burner!

Man, I seem to be working harder but stuck in a rut. Perhaps I need some of that inspiration I preach to my clients. It is sooooo important to have someone in your corner inspiring you and pushing you on…and someone to give ya that swift kick in the@&&! Gotta keep pushin’ on!

I’m into my second week of no/low-carb dieting…it’s tough. I’m starting to feel the effects as my energy has waned esp. in the morning but I’m trying to hold on…
This is the price I guess to get to where I want to be
I’m almost there…and I’m so ready for the summer months and for the beach! Btw…I hope to get those pics soon!
