Ok school is knockin the snot out of me. I still go to the gym but more for maintenence than progress. I’m bored with my work outs and will be making a new work out plan when I go home for T-day. I am losing weight and not trying which is a bit worrisome cuz i dont know where its coming from (muscle or fat, but my chest are smaller so that answers some of that). I am thin enough to see abs so i really want to focus on that between now and Christmas. I have a gym membership in my hometown that I’ll be able to use so I’m gonna lift like 3-4x a week with my whole fam which should be fun! I’m been tryin to get em interested in fitness for ages. And I’ll do 4 4-6mi runs and I should be good. I no longer have an appetite for junkfood like i used to so its really easy to manage my diet at home these days. FINALLY. Thats all i guess.
So goals to address in the new work out plan
1. build legs
2. chisel abs
3. run ( i love running!!!)
K, i guess i’ll be back on in another month…is that my pattern?

Holy crap! I can’t beleive its been 2+ months since my last post. I’m really wrapped up in the grad school situation and its amazingly fun! I am still finding time to train and have added some new activities into my activity list. I lost all the weight from summer but am maintaining right now cuz I just dont have time to moderate my diet so well these days. However, I still eat pretty dern clean! I think I really starting the high protein "diet" and now its just second nature which is great. I need to put up some pics so check around over for ‘em.

OMG you should see my refrigerator. It is so colorful. I feel great and less bloated too since i’m eating less sodium. My lifting routine went well. I was sore with shoulders and chest…back not so much. I am so excited to start up again and finally achieve my ab definition goal. I froze a mix of 3 types of melon balls, blueberries, strawberries, grapes and apples and they make the best protien smoothie with no sugar added! MMMMM-azing. weight at the begginning of the week: 141.2, weight today 140.2. Go away body fat, go away!

I am back on track. I moved to school and now have recreated the clean kitchen that I had in April. I am so hesitant to put up pictures of me with no muscle tone so I think I’ll just keep them to myself for now. (thats the point of the name fit-for-me! hehe). I did a total body circuit yesterday and my glutes and chest were sore…i missed being sore. Like Elle Woods said, "Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy."

OK, so my family was hit by the woes of the US economic crisis. It has certianly been a stressfull time and money is tight. I dealt with the stress my eating junk food and there simply wasn’t money in the family budget to buy ’special’ food just for myself (since my family thinks the food I eat is, well, bland). I also didn’t end up working out at home. STRESSSSS. I have to know my limits and I am simply not motivated to work out in a home full of loud (but still lovely) family members. Fortuntately, I’m moving away to grad school in a bit and there, armed with a financial aid check
and a school gym
I will be able to tackle my goals. I have gained a little body fat. Fortunately, I can use my own progress pics to motivate MYSELF!! I hate making excuses, but sometimes hard times happen, right?

Yes, i haven’t made any progress at all in the pics i took. I think i’m just maintaining which is good for the summer. I guess i’ll keep maintaining till Aug 1. I’m sad I won’t be more cut, but then again, I do need to just chill out for a sec before grad school starts neway (mentally, physically, dietarily).

So everybody knows i just graduated from college and am going off to grad school in August. the gym membership i have in my hometown i got a great deal on but now i dont want to get off the money for one month at a NO DEAL AT ALL price. So, I decided i need to get creative at home. I have bands, balls and dumbbells (up to like 15-20lb) so I’m gettin ready to see what I can do at home. Today, I’m gonna take some pics and post em. I am also lookin up at home routines. This is gonna be interesting.

OK so my knee is like tingling. Its kinda stiff, but not really. I dont know how to describe it but my paranoia is telling me these are the first signs of injury. I think i twisted it a bit wrong in that cardio kickbox class i talked about a couple of posts ago. I need to be careful. Everything’s going pretty well, I’m just trying to keep my diet in check and keep up the workouts.

OK, so about the chocolate chip cookies from last weekend. The whole thing was a wash. While i only ate 2 small cookies, the next day i went to see family and there was so much chocolate. But its ok, i started again this week and its going very well. I feel like such a slacker sometimes in terms of my diet but this is a real life quest, so i have to always remind myself that life is always bumpy. I got a temp job so i’m busy most of the day which keeps you from straying from the clean eating path. The first check i get I am going to make some insanely clean but tasty stuffed tomato dish. Tomorrow morning i’ve got a 4 mi run that i’m excited about and not excited about at the same time. Then legs in the pm, cardio on sat am, back and shoulders sat pm, and sun is one last cardio session. Whoo that seems like a lot.

Oh snap! I just leg pressed 200 lb for 8 reps! (12 reps 140, 10 reps 160, 10 reps 180, 8 reps 200). I can’t believe it. But i did so many reps at the lower weight that I should be able to lift so much more weight if my legs weren’t tired already. I finished out with some one legged lunges and ab/adductors. Then i did some elliptical to totally kill my legs. Amazing!
Today was so good and now i have the option of eating my chocolate chip cookie today. I am supposed to wait till tomorrow you know. I have instructed my friend to only let me eat one
. Then i have another cardio session tomorrow, light cardio on sunday, and my weekly weigh in on monday!
