Michelle...the first person you have to please in this whole BB thing is....yourself. Otherwise, you're wasting your time. Yea, I do think it's mental. Show a close friend your pics from your shoot, and see what they honesty think. If they agree with you, then there's your incentive to make a new goal and gain back some weight....either in muscle or fat or a combo of both. Keep this goal in perspective as you think you are feeling "bloated or jiggly". It'll help overcome the feelling. Good luck!!

Good morning / evening Fire. Hey, I think it is all part of our desire to see as many gains as possible, although we understand that in order to get bigger we need to bulk, but there is also a level of intake that will allow us to maintain our physic, stay lean, but still grow, this takes a lot longer than bulking and cutting, or at least it seems that way. I am doing that right now, although I am 37 years old, I have given up on the bulking all together, but will still grow. I think there are quite a few of us out here that share your pain, I pile on the protein just to maintain but only do enough carbs to feed my cardio addiction, lol. Take care and best wishes to you...You do look great!!

Woman I am with you on thise peanut butter issue... why does it even exist ?? There is no need for PB other than to destroy us ;) hahaha...

I feel the same way. I have learned though that when my fat is really low in my diet that is when I crave PB most and have NO control with it. Check you diet out and see if you may need to add a bit of other fats to the daily diet in order to not freak out with a spoon and a jar ;) Just a suggestion, who knows what the cause really is, I have just noticed that with me.

Power PB and SnacLite are awesome as is the old out of the jar kind ;)

Seeing the women in fashion magazines and the modeling shows on TV makes me sick and even more so when I hear people say that person is in shape. When their that thin, hardly eat, and you wonder where their muscles are... its to much! It sends the wrong messages to so many young women out there. I hope if I ever have a daughter of my own I can educate her enough so she knows thats not healthy and goes about it in a much better way.

So you can't diet when you drink its basically inpossible. But if your bodybuilding and going to consume alcohol I can give you some advice so you don't loss muscle mass.

Alcohol inhibits the hormone ADH - Antiduiretic hormones. This hormone stimulates your kidneys to reabsorb water. Alot of the reabsorption is from your urine. So if you ever wanted to know why you consistantly need to use the bathroom when you drink this is why. Anyways since your no longer holding onto water your muscle cells become dehydrated and cellular function stop. This stops protein synthesis which is crucial for the production of enzymes. So what your body does is breaks down muscle mass which is amino acids so they can make these enzymes.
So the best way to counter act these effects.
1) Once you reach that point that your consistantly needing to use the bathroom, your body is no longer using the ADH hormone. This is the point where you should be consuming water along with your drink.
2) Hydrate before bed as much as possible.
3) Consume protein by food or by drinking a protein shake.

Thats about all you can do.

Have a great time in Vegas
