creatine…what’s the deal?
ok, so I started taking Krealkalyne (spelling?) about 30mins preworkout and post workout, and I’m super bloated. My diet is really clean (with the exception of the one tablespoon of peanut butter before bed) so I don’t really see why I’m so fat at the moment. I’m drinking tons of water too and training hard. So what gives? Thanks!

If it was your first time, did you do the loading phase? What company makes this creatine that you bought? let me know and I’ll help you out!

Anytime you take creatine suppliments you need to make sure you drink more water then normal. Creating actually forces water into the cells and makes them fuller (more surface area allows for more contractile strenght, hence strength gains) the fuller muscles are due to more water intercellularly. Therefore be sure you drink that extra water. good luck.

I forgot to explain the bloating. When your body has a sense of low water its first reaction is to release water into the surface underneath the skin to show you (bloating) that you need more water.

Creatine puts water in your muscles basicly it makes you retain water. I cycled on and off for a few month it gave me a great pump and I never felt bloated but I did notice a 3lbs difference each time I went on and off of it.

Oh ya but I also drink a gallon or more of water a day. Maybe you should try uping your water intake and see if you notice a difference.
