I was flipping through the January issue of Allure magazine (strickly out of treadmill bordem) and saw one of the most appauling photos a fitness gal could see. It was an article about getting in shape. The pictorial was a stick thin model with no muscle tone wearing a metallic body suit, high fashion heels, and a fur coat! She was sitting on an AB Ball with a dumbell in one hand and a fast food soft drink in the other. What’s wrong with this picture?

saran wrap and Preparation H?

Ok, so has anyone ever heard of rubbing Preparation H on the stomach and tighs, then wrapping them tightly in saran wrap before bed? My coach is having me do this. Does this seem insane to anyone else? Has anyone ever heard of this or done this? I’m so blown away by the act of this. I tried it last night. It sucked. I couldnt wait for the night to end. to make it worse, i was told to take a cold shower when i woke up to wash it off-then to head to the gym after an ice-cold shower, talk about jello legs, i had no coordination what so ever! somebody save me! thanks!

Hey ya’ll! anyone who’s ever competed has used a tanning practice of some kind, right? Please share your tanning regimes with me, because i have no idea where to start or what to use! I have olive skin, and go tanning on a regular basis. But i have no idea about pre-contest tanning! Help! thanks

Carb Depleting

ok, so i’m now in that "dreaded" phase of my diet. They call it carb depleting. I dont know if i can handle this! I miss my energy. Does anyone have any ideas on getting past that feeling like your going to pass out while doing cardio? I take Cytolean in the morning before my AM cardio, then again 6 hours later. I also drink about 8 oz of coffee throughout the day-i dont want to be up all night. So how do i get past the exhaustion and the cravings and still be able to lift heavy without passing out? I’m only depleting for 3 days, then i up my carbs to 100 grams for the other 4. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!! THANKS
