Back in the Saddle!!

Well, I will have to admit that I have slacked these past two weeks - workouts have definitely lacked this past week.  I did legs last monday with Susan and she had me lifting SUPER heavy and I was sore until Friday.  I went running Tuesday morning, but didn’t work out again really until Saturday.  Saturday night was my 26 bday celebration, so I drank and ate crappy Mexican. I drank mega margaritas (yes, I know, they are the worst in terms of calories and sugar), and I never drink them!!

Today I have been eating SUPER clean and am back on track to working out tonight, running tomorrow morning and then working out this entire week.  I seriously feel gross and like I have gained back all the weight I had lost!!  The crappy part, I got a new job (well, this is a GREAT THING!) for a PR Powerhouse firm, but now I will not be teaching bootcamp, which means I won’t have the extra income to pay for Susan.  Ug - I am so frustrated.  But, I will have more time to workout because I will not be going to teach bootcamp.

Anyway, I need to get back into it hardcore and stop drinking all together.  I get SO SO down on myself when I drink - I feel like crap, I feel fat, bloated, etc.  But I still do it on the weekends.  I need to focuson staying away from alcohol for at least two straight months. 

Ug - any tips for going out but not drinking???

Thursday was my first day in a few weeks to weight myself since I started working out with my fab trainer (Susan Groshek - pro competitor) and I have lost 5 pounds since I started working with her.  I am now down to 122.5, which is right around my wedding weight.  I still have about 4 more pounds to go.  I was thrilled when I got on the scale!!!  Susan has noticed I have gotten more lean and my husband has noticed I have gotten more muscular.  I am constantly sore!!!  I have been following my diet with very little cheating.  Susan gave me a new diet today, which is a little less strict - she had me following the same exact meal for three weeks and that was rough, but I still tried it.  The new diet has more flexibilit. However tonight I will have some mexican and wine with friends.  I am trying to get a muscular base now and lose a few pounds and then compete in September.  I just hate the cost of competing!!  Anyway…off for now.
