Blog Entry
Well, guys. I’ve signed up. I just got back from knocksville a couple days ago where I took my ASVAB test and also my physical. I did well on my test and the physical. I signed the four year contract and I’m going in as infantry. I’ve yet to do me fitness test with my recruiter, but I’m doing that sometime this week and I know I’ll do well with that also. My shipping out date is the 26th of November, but I could very well go before that. I appreciate all the comments left on my profile and especialy the people who read my blog. As you can tell I havn’t been able to get online very much lately as I’m very busy at home memorising stuff I’ll need to know in boot.
If you live around the Chatanooga area and would like to know more about the Marine Corps, I’ve been instructed to give you my recruiters phone number (he’s an awesome guy), so just write me a pm if your interested.

Congrats bro! Good job on the ASVAB.
It’s obvious that you won’t have any problems with the physical aspect of boot camp. As you can imagine, the true test will be all mental. They will try to get in your head constantly, and relentlessly for the first month and a half of your training, perhaps more since you’re a Marine.
There may be times when you’ll feel like giving up. It’s normal.. everybody goes through it.. I don’t care what they say.
All you have to do is recognize it when it happens, and push through it. The system is designed for you to succeed, not fail. Encourage yourself from inside, and believe that you can make it through any trial… physical or mental. Mind over matter bro. Get that down, and you will fly through this.
Follow orders promptly. Allow your work ethic and your actions to stand out. Don’t use your voice to stand out. You’ll see what I mean by that when you’re in.
You’ll do great man.. big time blessings to you!!
