I apologise to all of you for my lack of communication and updates to this site. I had an operation 2 months ago, that took me out of the gym. Unfortunately this operation went wrong and the doctors just now realised that they have cut off the artery to my leg. (lucky I still have one at this point) I will not be able to go to the gym for a long time and still have a chance of losing it. Who knew that a simple hysterectomy could turn out so wrong? I am suppose to have a bypass surgery to my artery next week. I pry this goes better then the last one. If I get 50% of my mobility back I will be amazed. So hitting the gym will be impossible for a long time. Very disappointing for me since I did an awesome job of getting where I wanted to be.

I will tell you I took first place in the weight loss challenge and third place in the fitness challenge I was in. Pretty proud of my achievments. If I can do it, so can all of you. I look forward to getting back to the weights when they tell me it is ok again. I will keep you posted as to how things turn out.

Just realised that I have lost a total of 23 inches off my body. Mainly my torso and hips. Also lost 26 pounds of fat of this body too. I am so proud of all my dedication and hard work. Will chat more when I have more time. Also update my new goals. Take care all. HaveĀ a great day

Sorry was not around for awhile

Sorry to all who have been waiting for a response from me. I had a close family member death last week and just did not have time to be on here. Thank you to all who helped me though it with the emails.

I am axiously waiting to get on the scale today since last weeks weight had gone up 3 lbs. Hoping getting back on track with my diet has shown some improvement. Was so disappointed in myself for losing my focus. I did great since january then blew it my birthday week. Grrrr. I really can not go out to dinner 3 times in a week. The way I figure it, I gain a pound everytime I step in a restaurant. LOL

My routines at the gym are still going strong. Even started a new thing. My workout buddy and I go roller blading once a week and hit the DDR (dance machine) at the local action city arcade, 2 times a week. Doing that machine for an hour will kick your ass. By the next day my legs are killing me. So it must be working. And it is certainly more fun then the eliptical and bike at the gym.

I have not kept up with my workout tracker over the last month. Got bored of entering the same data everyday over and over again. I am still at the gym everyother day. So those keeping tabs on me know that I am still very dedicated to getting it donw as usual.

Change

Well I seem to have lost 2 1/2 inches and gained a half inch to my bicepts. In the the last couple weeks. I guess it is going ok. I will not make my goal as I had hoped. Since I have 3 weeks to gain the abs I still cant find and lose 10 lbs. I wont give up but I wont have the results I want for the contest I am in. Frustrating as it is. I went on a major diet change a few weeks ago that was extremely limiting. The results were not what I expected considering I was burning more then I was taking in. I lost more on the original plan I was on. So I am going back to my previous diet.

Does anyone out here know a way to get better results in a faster time period? I work out 3 days a week with cardio and sit ups in between. I am very dedicated and push my limits. Please help if you can.

busy

Sorry all I have been busy with getting things done to get my bar open in a month. So have not been on this site often enough to get my tracker up to date. Headed to get that done tonight. If I can find all my sheets of scratch paper with the stats on it.

Uploaded new pictures just so I can see what this new diet is doing for me. I don’t see a big change by the pictures but the measurments seem to be having a change in the right direction.

A big Thank you to Mark for kicking me in the ass and keeping me on track. It is working.

Motivation level is doing well. Need to make some changes in routine though. Getting bored with it. Any ideas?

Back at it

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Todays workout went pretty good considering the week I had last week. I think every muscle burns like hell but thats what it is all about. Got all my sets in today and added squats to it. Something new that one of the girls suggested to work on my inner thighs. We shall hope and see if it works.
