gettin’ it back
okay, so I had baby! He was born Feb. 6th @ 6:19am!
Its been almost 3 weeks since I had him! Eventhough the doctors did give general advice of not working out until my 6 week check up, i feel good. Now, having said that, I havent gone back to the gym and started poping out squats or anything, but I have been doing my belly dancing and yoga dvd’s here at home. Throughout the pregnancy, i only gained 24 pounds! Ive lost 20 of those, but my belly still looks gross. Not taking into account the stretch marks, Its flabby! My eating hasnt been that great, except for my breakfast. For some reason, the past 3 weeks ive had the worst craving for Cottage Chees and Mandarin Oranges. I liked it before being pregnant, but now that im not, its like i can’t live without it, lol. So for breakfast ive been eating that, and occasionally i’ll switch it up with some oatmeal and drink a Boost. But last night we ordered a pizza (because my fried rice turned out bad!). Oh and my southern Mac N’ Cheese that puts you into a coma…its good, but its full of milk, cheese, lots of butter and salt. But man is it good! Im going to make next week my official start to getting my body back. Exercising isnt the difficult part, its the nutrition, but then again my nutrition has always been the downer for me, lol.
