Day 1 of EFDP
Sunday, September 20th, 2009Yesterday was day 1 of Steve’s Extreme Fat Destruction Plan. I work a 4 on, 3 days off schedule right now. Day 1 will be my Day 1 off and then just keep rolling until Wednesday. This insures that I get all my workouts in (because the closer I get to the end of my week, the more likely I am to miss one).
I did 4 x giants set and then I did HIIT. For HIIT I did a 5 minute warm-up and then I did 3 rounds of 30 seconds sprint + 90 seconds recovery and a short cooldown. I was totally huffing it throughout the HIIT for some reason. I have been doing these sprints for the last couple of weeks but I felt like I hadn’t done anything in a while. I don’t know if its being exhausted from the giants sets that only took me under 15 minutes to do. Overall I like the short workout. It works perfectly for my schedule since I only have 1 hour at work to change, workout and shower.
I have hated protein powders forever, except if I have a blender to make a smoothie out of them. I just bought some though that has the consistency of juice and is cranberry/raspberry flavored. I’m going to go buy another flavor. I can drink these without a blender in a shaker cup (which I absolutely hated before).
