As of late, I’ve been asked a lot of the same questions, so here is a handy, and quite possibly sarcastic, frequently asked questions.

EMBRACEFIRE’S FAQ:

Q: How did you like P90X?
A: I LOVED it. Never before have I been so challenged in so many different areas of fitness, while being so motivated at the same time. The program is so versatile, it can be tailored to burn fat and get lean, or to build muscle and bulk up (or a little bit of both) its also versatile enough to take traveling for the most part, which suits my nomadic lifestyle. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to make a change.

Q: How do you like Insanity?
A: This program is harder on my lungs and heart than it is on my muscles. Having said that, I am sure there is progress waiting to come!

Q: Which gym do you go to?
A: I don’t, I do this all at home in my own space. This motivates me more than a gym. <strong />

Q: You know you’re so close to a six pack! You just have to…
A: Thanks, but I don’t want one. Maybe while flexing, hard, but my ideal female abs are tight, taut and lean, without the bulging six pack shape. I am tailoring what I do for the results I want.

Q: Who are your fitness inspirations?
A: Jamie Eason and Natalie Hunt. They’re both in incredible shape, yet retain all that is feminine and beautiful about the female body. I love their look.

Q: What motivates you?
A: Tony Horton motivates me, he’s got so much spastic energy like I do, and he channels it in a way that you can’t help but get fired up about! Seeing people in great shape motivates me, seeing how far I’ve come motivates me. But overall, my biggest motivation is inspiring others!

Q: What are your goals?
A: To tone up, and build strength. I want to be able to feel strong, healthy, and energized all the time. And looking good in the process never hurt!

Q: Are you looking to Compete?
A: Not really, no.

Q: Why don’t you sleep? Have you tried–?
A: Let me stop you right there. I have been an insomniac for 15 years. Do you really want to insult me by suggesting obvious treatments that I could have possibly been stupid enough to overlook in that time?

Q: You’re so cute!
A: I understand this is meant as a compliment, but I do not take it as one. Please do not call me cute. I am a 20 year old woman, and though I may be 5′2, I do not on any level appreciate being flattered with the same word you would use on a child. Think about it.

Q:What is it like up in Canada?
A: I don’t live in an igloo, snow does not suddenly start at the border. Its much like northern states, with free health care and a lack of guns. In all reality, I really like where I come from. Its a beautiful place of wonderful people.

Q: Are you single?

A: Nope, Sorry. I have been with my boyfriend for 6 years and I plan to stay committed to that.

Q: Do you have Yahoo/AIM/MSN?

A: I do, but I am not giving the contact information out. Please don’t ask, its not going to happen.

Q: Can you take some special bikini pictures for me?
A: No. I do model, but not for GWC’s. Professional photographers only.

Q: So my ex said this and I wonder, does size matter? Do girls masturbate? Do they fantasize about threesomes?
A: Stop. I really don’t care what your ex girlfriend said, and I really don’t care what sort of perverted questions you have. If you do not know me well, (IE- In person) then find someone else to ask.

Q: HI THERE HOW ARE YOU? WHAT SORT OF PROGRAM DO YOU DO?
A: Hi there! Let me introduce you to my friend, the caps lock button. Its right next to your A key. Can you find it?

Q: Which Martial Arts did you study in?
A: I was in Sun Hang Do for about 8 years to get my black belt. I no longer train.

Q: Can we be friends?
A: Is your name Rahul? HELL NO. Any other person: Sure! I love chatting with people on here, and making connections. As long as you don’t act like a creep, we should be fine.

Anyone else once more having issues with your settings being changed? For some reason my PM’s were turned off, and I never did that. So sorry to anyone whos been trying to message me.

Second, anyone lagging up like crazy when they try to look at their comments? I know I am, and its only here. My internet is superfast. Going to try clearing them out, see if that helps any….

EDIT: Oh yeah, that did the trick. Derr….

Bry got her desire to start modeling again!

On a sheer whim, I put my new pictures up on a modeling site, and have had offers pouring in ever since! I can hardly keep up!

New Goal.

It is time to eat better. The past two days have been filled with crappy junk food. Certainly I enjoyed it, but its time to say goodbye to the foods that make me feel sluggish and soft. Real results are coming, and they will be even more amazing if my body doesn’t have to fight against bad fats! In order to achieve this, I pledge the following:

  • No more fast food: Going out will consist of healthy foods ordered. If its fast food, its Nando’s or a wrap. No excuses!
  • More protein! I need to make the protein shake a regular in my diet. Its been difficult, but now I am holding myself to it.
  • Drinking more water! I am already putting back about 54-58 oz a day, but its not enough. Especially to clean out my system.
  • Getting back into eating breakfast. With the summer heat, this has been less than constant
  • Eating 5 times a day, and tracking my calories. Even with the junk food, I am not reaching where I should. Time to push it.

Please help me stay accountable!

So for some reason, it seems that most of my profile just disappeared in the few hours I was gone today. My goals, my profile pictures, information, all my stats, all my comments… somehow everything has been wiped. I’m not 100% sure why this has happened. Either way, my apologies to anyone who sent a comment I did not respond to, it was not intentional, I just never got to read it!

Any thoughts?

P90X- Day 30

Day 30 has now come and gone, and I am stoked! In this initial fat burning phase, I really did not expect to see much change to my body (as I have noticed most people do not, the big changes come with day 60 and 90) but wow! So far, I have noticed a tremendous increase in my capability and quality of form, not to mention how much my stamina has increased! Pressing pause is no longer an option. Taking longer breaks, not for me. Bonus Round? You bet!!

And these changes are not limited to ability, even physically I have noticed a difference! My arms are so much harder than they were, and so much stronger! They have not gotten any bigger, but its sure easier to see the definition! My abs are so much tighter… when I am merely standing around the house, I can see a 4 pack, and that is just amazing to me.

So far, this entire journey has been nothing but gain, accomplishment and positivity. I cannot thank the people I have met enough for their compliments, support and ongoing motivation, as well as the honour they have done me in naming me as inspiring. Thanks to those special few I have really connected with, and thanks for our long conversations. Thanks to everyone; I have a new passion to add to my growing list, and you’re all a part of that!

A few things…

I’ve made a lot of friends on BB.com since i joined, and for the most part, everyone has been great, supportive and really overall very motivational. I’ve actually really enjoyed the people I’ve been in contact with discussing fitness programs, advice, encouragement and personal interests.

However, that being said, I cannot -stand- being added, and asked for pictures or for my email address. My pictures I will post on my gallery, when its time for them to be there. There is a reason I do not give out my email address– if I wanted you to have it, I’d send it to you, once we’d actually talked some. I’m not a hostile person, I am just not going to give out my messenger to be asked to webcam 3 times a day.That is not what I’m here for.

So I’m hoping this actually gets read, and at least considered.  For those who have been helpful and encouraging, thank you so much for your contact, I love talking with you! I love the majority of the community here and really look forward to becoming more involved as time goes on, and I get fitter!
